I started lactating and lost my period and was incredibly itchy. It turned out that the tiny dose I took for sleep gave me a pituitary gland tumour that gave me menopause at 30, the endocrinologist said I had the hormones of an 80 year old. I had to take Dostinex to shrink the tumour and spent every weekend in bed throwing up from it. The first time I took seroquel I fainted in the shower, I was 22 and I phoned the doctor saying I don’t want to take this stuff. She told me I had to so I did what she said. She also put me on Effexor 150 and that eventually gave me seizures. Then Lexapro and that gave me seizures too.
I now take a tiny dose of CBD and feel great and I sleep
I'm on 25mg along with carabamazapine aswell.
Hence why I'm late with watching this. Just need abit more info on what I am taking. Thanks for the video 😀 it did help

man i take 25 mg at night for sleep... I can't imagine taking 800mg a day?! 25mg makes me feel loopy & extremely tired, I can only imagine taking those higher doses.
25 mg is ok.
I use it for anxiety due to anxiety sleep distrub it make a good sleeping pattern and it's low dose

At higher doses it(and many other similar meds, like TRicylic antidepressants, and other antipsychotics actually are less sedating at higher doses. Low dose Seroquel is more sedating than higher dose.
@@theLGI93 it increased them for my sister-in-law, she ended up, ending her life last June 2020. She was hearing voices and having suicidal thoughts.
Quick note on my mental illness I suffer from EUPD and PTSD. The EUPD is very unstable in me. But the PTSD I seem to be managing quiet well
I just started this in on 50mg twice a day for Bipolar, next I go to to 200mg then the week after 300mg, I have swollen feet and really dry mouth, I am doing ok on it and I am happy taking it.
Hi do you find that your heart rate go so fast on this I'm on 300mg of this but recently iv bin experience really bad restless leg and other parts since I found out I'm pregnant so cutting down to 150 as of yesterday x

I take half of 25 mg...I refuse to let my doctor give me more than 50 mg. Waking up before a full night's worth of sleep is the worst! However, everything is at bay with thos dose.
I finished tapering from this poison 3 months ago after being prescribed a low dose for sleep for two yrs .
Yes , withdrawals were hard but that is the price to pay when coming off a poison like seroquel . My life is so much better now and I would never go back .
Do you personally feel that the brain fog and emotional numbness go away after stopping taking it? I have been taking low dose for sleep too but I want to stop bc of these symptoms. I'm hopeless 😥 and I'm afraid they may be permanent

Did you ever return to a normal sleeping pattern after stopping it? I was prescribed it for a month for insomnia. I hope I’m able to sleep once I stop taking it.

What is the permanent treatment of this disease
Sadly the only treatment available is to euthanize the patient exhibiting symptoms. We have found this disease to be highly virulent and contagious. Normal treatment protocols are ineffective in stopping the transmission to others in the public.

Does anyone else get a blocked nose from taking Quetiapine? I took it for almost 3 years to help with anxiety and it was good, I had no problems, then last year my nose started blocking up when I take it and it's still doing now every time I have one, so I basically have nothing to help with my anxiety anymore. Was wondering if anyone else experiences this and if they know why?
yep. same. In fact it's hard for me to function normally after taking it. My breathing became hard and my nose is blocked. And whenever I tried doing something on my laptop it's like my brain process slower and I made countless mistakes. I can't even keep my focus on watching anything.
As for my Bipolar, idk if it helps me that well because recently the bad thoughts came back and I get agitated easily. The harmful thoughts is gone and I'm glad. I can't even cry anymore idk 😶

I recently tried taking one again thinking "hey, it's been awhile, maybe it wasn't as bad as I remember", but no, it was just as bad, my nose blocked right up and I felt like a zombie. My anxiety gets so bad sometimes that I use alcohol to get through it, because no medications work for me without side effects. I hope you find something that works for you and helps : )

Yes , it happened to me as well but I’ve been off of this poison almost 4 months now and I no longer have that problem .
As for your anxiety your best option is tapering off .
I had to in-order to save myself because my anxiety was only getting worse .
I was gaining weight , had heart palpitations , my voice even changed and the constant runny nose was problematic . My sugar levels spiked up and so did my blood pressure . This poison was slowly killing me .
Plus this drug is a dopamine antagonist so it leaves you with minimal emotions and numb inside . I am learning to supplement with vitamins and minerals and my anxiety levels and insomnia is so much better as I am healing from this poison .

Wow I was recently wondering why my nose gets blocked around midnight, and I never thought it was because of quetiapine…Mystery solved!!
I went from 150mg for 2 years to 800mg after a manic episode. I was on 800mg for months, took a lot of hard work for the psychiatrist to bring me down. I’m on 400mg and have been for a while. However I am now starting to have strange sensations in arms and legs after I take it, a strange feeling of panic sets in when I try to move my limbs, as if I can’t control them. I have an appointment with a dr on Monday. Just wondered if anyone has experienced this?

@@rebeccayoung3752 I'm on Quetiapine, too, and it makes me have weird movements like that as well. Completely involuntary, I have no control over it. I spent the entire day yesterday grinding my jaw.

I take 25 - 50 a day depending on the anxiety and mood I’m in. My mom has bipolar and she takes 500mg. Eff me. 😮

I have a problem im addicted to it, it began with 2 25 mg and the docter didnt want to give me more because of addiction issues. I now get a box almost every day, first i got 30 in a box (25mg) now for some reason i got 60 in a box its like they wanne make me addicted i am too scared to say anything to anyone ourely because without this i cannot sleep at all.
I got quetiapine because i couldnt sleep for 5 days last day i got hallucinations and sounds in my ear like a robot sound over everything so when some one talked to me they sounded like a robot. I couldnt sleep because i was about to be sleeping on the streets so i was slowly giving my stuff away this gave my brain enough motivation too keep me awake for 5 days without drugs (i use cannabis to sleep and smoked a lot still couldnt sleep) now i have an addiction for sleeping i also have to pay 60 euros a box (max 400 euro)

Best is to taper off it little by little and find an alternative, preferably, something holistic natural
I take 12,5 mg.. 25mg will knock me out for 12 hrs. Started 17 days ago.. Started with 12,5, didnt work, then 25, then 50 for one night which knocked me out for 13 hrs!! then came back down to 12,5 and am trying to get my sleep to 8-9 hrs. I often have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep and used to sleep 10-12 hrs every single day with multiple wakenings during the night.
So did 12.5mg give a good decent night ?? How u feel next day?
@@jessicalist8422 I switched to mirtazapine a while back, taking 7,5 mg before bed. Also on escitalopram 20mg daily. Quetiapine proved too strong for me.

I take 150mgs I started low and worked my way up but I've been on this dose a very long time I don't feel sleepy until it kicks in before bed!! Awesome sleep!!

Always pay attention to your symptoms without running to a doctor who knows nothing about your life or who you are in general .
You can have for example a vitamin B1 or magnesium deficiency and have panic can attacks , anxiety and depression . Doctors are not the answer . This poison is not the answer .
Take care of yourself and you will thank yourself later .

Honestly, it doesn't really make me a zombie, but does make me feel numb and that's an extremely good thing. Thinking of the shame and having constant severe anxiety was horrific. This med is helping me so much!
