    For the 1500 model, you should be able to change the battery by removing the 2 front screws on the bottom and sliding. It should be shown in the manual. But I do agree it's weird how CyberPower makes it much more finicky to change batteries, compared to my APC ones for instance.

    Hi Alex - how long does the battery backup last for the big one?

      Hi Marie, my previous UPS from Cyber Power (the big one) lasted around 10 years with normal use. I would usually promptly shutdown down my computer, less battery use can also extend the lifespan of a battery. It can also be influenced by many factors such as temperature, and frequency of power outages in your area.

    The batteries are replaceable very easily. Look in the manual. Just sayin'.

      Yes, it has come to my attention that the batteries are replaceable. I will explore that in more detail once these batteries die again. Do you think how to change the batterie on these UPS would make for a useful video?
