Hi Marie, my previous UPS from Cyber Power (the big one) lasted around 10 years with normal use. I would usually promptly shutdown down my computer, less battery use can also extend the lifespan of a battery. It can also be influenced by many factors such as temperature, and frequency of power outages in your area.

Hi Adeline, $30 what a deal! The rice can stick to the inner pot depending on the type of rice you use, not enough water or if left on "warm for too long" The Gaba rice in this video didn't stick. Glutinous rice will stick more, you can limit sticking by rinsing the rice well, stir in a teaspoon of coconut oil (together with the uncooked rice and water). By far the biggest thing you can do to prevent sticking is to unplug the rice cooker after the rice is cooked. I find if I leave in on warm it will stick. Hope you find these tips helpful. Enjoy!

Hello@@startrekfangirl, I still use it 3-5x/week. I also love cooking quinoa in it. As it is an excellent choice for vegans, being a complete protein, and more nutritious than rice. Similar to the previous comment, best to unplug it after cooking, as leaving it on warm can dry out the quinoa. I like to melt in and mix a table spoon of coconut oil after its cooked.
