- For many days now, Mojo Story has been travelling along side river Ganga tracking the uncounted, suspected covid-19 dead bodies buried along the banks of the Ganges. Barkha Dutt voyages on a boat on the Ganga river to unearth the reality of COVID deaths in rural Uttar Pradesh travelling from Kannauj to Kanpur Dehat covering a distance of 30 Kms. On one side there are shallow graves of hundreds of bodies alongside banks, on the hand there are hundreds floating in river Ganga. The boatman told Mojo Story that he's working there since 8 years and haven't seen anything like this before.

I am really worried for the animals in the river. The dogs are probably eating some of that flesh. The cattle are drinking that contaminated water. I hope someone is looking into the health of these animals too. where are the gorakshaks now ?

@@nazeemsultan123 poor Maa Ganga is herself in need of deep cleansing. It is very sad that such a huge river is now a graveyard. The kind of abuse people do with the environment is horrible. the marine life in the river too must be severely contaminated. This river flows thru so many states, cities and villages. i Cannot even imagine the damage this can do in a few months time when these bodies will rot in the river and the toxic water will generate some new disease and effect so many lives.
This can spread cholera. And don't know what else desease and environment issues humans and animals both.
@@amberlight5830 so true . a completely new virus might just come out of such contaminated waters. Monsoon will make it worse if the bodies are not burnt immediately. the rotting will intensify. The govt should just collect all the bodies in one huge ground and burn it all in one go. the air will be bad for a few days but if the river gets poisoned it will take years or decades to get rid of it.
They don't realise that every arrest. Every intimidation and every threat will be replied with even more fervent vigour and passion.

Why you want over-reporting , how it helps country ..? If under-reporting is significant it will be exposed anyway. You can not expect the ideal when we are not behaving ideal. There has been some mistakes on govt side as well but what others did was crime attempting to sabotage own country vaccination, maligning country in hour of crisis.
