Yggdrago is so cool! I love that he is basically the World Tree from Norse mythology that connects all the worlds in their idea of the universe, Yggdrasil, but as 3 chonky sneks!
In the physical card game, Yggdrago is in Nail Saionji's Structure Deck. In Duel Links, you can get it in the BOX Genesis Maximum. For the anime, it made its first appearance in Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS episode 23, "What Lies After Providence".

My favorite Maximum summon was Yuga's first one which was Super Magitek Deity Magnum Over Road because that one including every other maximum summon gives my super sentai/power ranger vibes when they would summon the zords after the monster of the week they were battling grew, & i agree 100% that Vast Vulcan looks like a fusion of Exodia & Obelisk

Any three-headed monster works easily, but it's still not a good idea. It works for rush since the field is limited to three, so it takes up your board.
4:47 harpy ladies IS a level 10 monster. Yes, all cards say harpy ladies being level 5, but one of the card text say that harpy ladies gain 5 levels in maximum mode. Since 5+5 = 10 harpy lady remains a level 10 monster
I want maximums in master duels. I don’t care if they’d be pretty much unplayable in a casual or competitive setting and don’t fit the master duel format at all, they’re still cool. I want to see a maximum blue eyes ultimate dragon
@@rayhayes7701 yeah they only possible way I could think to fit them in would be to make them five pieces to take up the whole board like they do in rush duels, or all have an effect that prevent any other monsters on your side of the field. Neither are really good solutions. Lol
My favorite on this list is Beelucitaroth. It's name combination of Beelzebub (the fat one on the left, as expected of the Demon of Gluttony), Lucifer (the center hunk; yes he's hot, shut up), and Astaroth (the female on the right, which makes sense given that the Demon's namesake is named after the Sumerian Goddess, Astarte). Also, hot take, but I really wish Gate Guardian would show up as a Maximum. If the Harpy Ladies can get in, then so can the Paradox/Meikyu Brothers' ace monster! Wonder how the art would look though.
I mean how would that work? Since the 3 pieces combine vertically, whereas a maximum summon is a horizontal combination of the card art. From a visual sense, I’m think of it being the complete Gate Guardian, Labyrinth Wall, and Wall Shadow, done in a way akin to Beelucitaroth. Granted, Labyrinth wall would be the background
Kind of funny that the first Maximum Monsters (starting with Yggdrago) could be considered unplayable or useless currently in Rush Duels's Meta. However, for SEVENS, those Monsters that would easily end up as bricks in your Hand are the equivalent of Egyptian Gods at the time: where only a few Duelists could defeat (and being the punching bag for Fusion Monsters in Season 2) The new generation Maximum Monsters (beginning with Beelucitaroth and Doomblaze) became more playable, more oppressive, and are now a viable strategy in Rush Duels's Meta. Not for nothing, Phaser's Maximum Monsters Deck is currently a threat as very few Decks can stand up to the power of DARK Sea Serpent Maximum. And so, in GO RUSH, these Maximum Monsters have quite a few built-in Effects that seem to be unstoppable Monsters or have answers to everything (and I'm no longer the punching bag for Fusion Monsters)

I'm sorry for being a couple days late, but you know what would be a good maximum, as well as a clever reference to the Duel Monsters Anime. A maximum consisting of Guardian Eatos, Kay'est, and Grarl because those three monsters were the ones Rafael had a close Attachment too...

Hyper Engine Vast Vulcan is my favorite maximum monster, so I was definitely happy to see him take the number 2 spot. Awesome design and decently strong effects too. Also, Beelucitaroth is a reference to Beelzebub, Lucifer, and Astaroth.
We're getting the original Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon in the Ultimate Blue-Eyes Legend structure deck. Unfortunately I doubt we'll get maximum retrain. Simply because it would make the structure deck & bringing the OG Ultimate Dragon over completely redundant and a waste of time on Konami's part.

the blaze fiend and the other lvl 10 all card thats fire fiend are actually the same archtype. why? well for one if you check there effects they are the same apart from one destroys the other does piercing. but the point of that deck is to ditch your maximums bring them back summon one then the other to destroy the opponent. the big one even makes so opponent cant set monsters. which is just terrafying in itself

How did I not know about Blaze Fiend Overlords Beelucitaroth??? Also crazy that no Magum Overlord made the list, that is a shame. But yeah I feel like Vulcan is super underrated! I believe it is the first time ever that the main protagonist used a FIRE attribute ace monster. Also Vulcan being a god of inventors fits Yuga so perfectly!
I would say that Vulcan is also the most important Maximum Monster of Yuga that has been the most recurring that has appeared in Rush's Animes: that Maximum Monster was the base for the other Magum Overlords that appeared in the Anime.

Maximum Summon monsters usually had to be tributed away as players can draw 5 cards and summon defensive monster faster than they can be destroyed... slower the game to a halt... sadly a poor game design...

Whenever i see the Maximum artworks, they almost all strongly remind me of the high powered Duel Masters creatures.
