Thank you for such an informative and entertaining review. I love the sound effects. Your input really helped me decide. Looking forward to seeing future videos.
Very strong review. Im considering to buy the tempo but I cant find it anywhere available, everywhere out of stock. Do you now whats happend with these nice sunglasses?
Great in-depth review on the Bose glasses. I just decided to buy the Alto on sale for $85 on Ebay. I just subscribed and I look forward to more reviews.
Great review! Your recommendations were pointed to not leave anyone still lost on what to do. I ride a bike, so outside specialized purpose matching Tempo. I use headphones while riding but know that's not the safest as they block sounds I need to hear. Riding a bike, of course glasses needed. And if I am wearing a helmet then i can't pretend that I am the most fashion oriented while riding lol.
Thank you! I love my Alto (have two pairs) but was curious what the difference with the new ones. I did have a pair starting to do that slip thing (S/M) - realised putting them on the top of my head (and letting everybody big and small try them on) If you don’t have a Bose retailer in your state (WA doesn’t) it’s difficult to get anyone to attempt to service them (even tighten them)
Nice review thanks. I am looking for a pair of Tempo now. Main use is Mountainbiking. The style of the Tempo is douchy (at best) but I don't care during sports. But I don't know why they ar efucking up the mic on this product! I have the Quiet Comfort 20 and mic quality is also shit there.
Prescription lenses are, sadly, only available in the US. If you try to replace the lenses with prescription lenses outside the US, your warranty is voided.
Depending on where you are there are online lens services that will do them and its covered. I bought my tenors through Lensabl with prescription lenses and because they make it all in house its fine. You have to email them tho if you're outside the US or Canada as they only do those 2 countries atm without a special order. Also my lenses were nearly double the price of the Bose frames themselves but I knew that going in, need special glass for scripts below -7 which is $150 by itself. But if you're going to buy audio sunglasses go all out I figure
Hey mate love your channel. This is off topic to your video but I can't find a way to send you a message. I have a question I was hoping you could help me with about the new consoles and soundbars.... to my understanding theres no sound bar that has 2.1 HDMI inputs. But spending money on a good TV and soundbar iv read its not optimal to use eArc from sound bar to TV and consoles to TV because of the compressed and decompressed differences in audio. I was wondering if you might know if 2021 soundbars will have 2.1 or its not worth worrying about or is there a way to have it all work at peak potential. (Sorry I know this has nothing to do with your post but couldn't find a way to message you). Thank you for your help
I think you want to make sure the SB supports 5.1 LPCM. Sonos Arc (with eARC TV), LG SN11RG, Vizio Elevate, JBL Bar 9.1 supposedly supports bu gave me some issues. ARC should not be a problem with these.
Video is kind of pointless given these two glasses are really meant for different applications. A Tenor G2 vs. Alto G1 would have been more interesting in my opinion.
Perhaps relevant if you are familiar with G1 and want to know how it translated to active wear for G2. I wear my G2s all the time … most delightful gadget in a long time and I deal with lots of gadgets
@@neverenoughtech eh not really especially with a scoring point system. The two sunglasses really are for different use. I doubt many people are wearing the tempo casually.
I might of agreed with you back during the video. The way it played out is I just wear them as my only sunglasses and I have lots of sunglasses. I rarely wore the G1s - fit was too loose. Also I’ve grown to appreciate the side coverage. I’m in the function over form age bracket now I guess. I think we might take marketing too seriously. I’d predict these sunglasses are used a whole lot during non workouts - casual circumstances … though I rarely see people wear any kind of Bose frames so hard to judge
The build materials for tempo seems like they are set up to feel cheap to be light. My take is the tempos sound considerably better than G1. I have not tried the G2 lifestyle models.
Come on Daniel! All these glasses are just rubbish. Nobody interested, just compare the number of likes and comments for this video and your soundbar reviews ))). Come back to soundbar reviews, don’t waste time any more. Seriously, Today I was lucky to test 3 soundbars in a big digital store: 1. Lg 11 2. JBL 9.1 3. Yamaha YSP 2700 I didn’t notice any significant difference in sound between 1. and 2. I tested DTS and Dolby Atmos promo video downloaded from internet. And I was really amused by Yamaha sound. Although it doesn’t have rear surrounds. It’s worth saying that it is much smaller in size, as was being said doesn’t have rear surrounds , a model of 2018, and still costs more money than 1. and 2. So, I would appreciate if you make also Yamaha soundbar review.
I disagree with the rubbish comment. I agree there is way less interest ... though it’s not always easy to tell how popular a video will be long term. Need to cleanse the pallet every once in a while. I can consider Yamaha for sure.
@@neverenoughtech Okay, it was a joke about rubbish, please, don’t take it to heart. Besides I am not fluent English speaker and sometimes don’t understand the shades. I just tried to tell you that you made the best soundbar reviews ever ))))

Awesome review! I really appreciated the comparison of the two sunglasses. Helped with my purchase for Father’s Day. 😎👍
I wish you also compare Alto with other Bose 2nd Gen Frames..
I wish they had no tint plastic lens. At least I could use contacts.
@@jobellecollie7139 gen 2 have many options for both prescription and non prescription
I bought the Alto's today. I got a $74 off coupon. I'm using the for audio books.

Been using my tempos like crazy - highly recommended.
Nice review. Just bought the tempo online. My wearable fetishes include the soundwear, Hearphones and sport openears. Living daily with the qcii

Nice deep dive review.
I went for neither. The tenor is amazing though.
It’s the gold plated hinges that do it for me. That means Bose takes their audio seriously!
Well it means they took the sunglasses “seriously” - doesn’t have much to do with audio
Good morning Mr. Daniel
Do you advise me to update my JBL 9.1 Soundbar?
Software update? Or to another soundbar?

My words
Well done
I used alto for two month and spoilt, then got a replacement, and it spoilt again, unable to turn on. I gave up and replaced with tempo
How is your tempo? Better than alto?
@@yuditrapangau2858 yes, very much way way way bettter than alto

It's insanely distracting.
I would prefer more cuts, thanks.

Bad design on second generation..
I feel the second gen build quality is worse then the first gen which wasn’t that good ether and the sound quality has gone down
