That’s a nice tour I really enjoyed it, glad you bought the Volvo love it
Chnd Jolene , Thank You for taking us along on this wonderful tour of this private museum and collection owned by this fine gentleman .and his spouse . It was truly amazing his knowledge and history of the collectibles i Chad and Jolene the All Original 1961 Volvo 544 with 36,000 miles is an amazing find , especially with it being assembled in Halifax /Dartmouth NS.. I wouldn't be too anxious to resell the Volvo 544 . I would just add it to the Hiltz Automobile Collection. When the gentleman stated that he would drain the old gas out and replace it with fresh stuff and drive it to your home meant a lot to his credibility.
This video is gorgeous
We had one of these. Easiest car to work on. It's like they planned on everything being worked on and removed. Only issues we had when fixing it up, the gas tank was rotted out in a fee places.
💥💥🛠️
Buy it chad
Good Grief , what an Awsome lighter collect !
I seen those zippo lighters with US Navy ships names on them go for $300 or more. Just to give everybody a heads up if you’re at a rummage sale.
I collect lighters! My collection has nothing compared to this guys! AWESOME!!!😂😂❤❤
It’s the same age as me, and just as ugly ! 😂 but I think if anyone could make that car look cool, it’s you !
😂
Graet looking Swedish car, Volvo 544 sport B-16 (1583cc) 3-speed 6 volt 85 hp
Volvo 262C (coupe) V6s are built that way from the factory. They were sent to the Bertone factory in Turin, Italy and modified there. It was produced for Volvo's 50th anniversary as a car company in 1977 and produced only 6,622 units until 1981.
That Volvo Beritone is AWESOME -super cool Volvo and rare to find a nice one
Don't sell that Volvo to Chad. Chad will just Chop it up and destroy it.
Since when did they put an R in Alpha Romeo. Romero unheard of
Alfa.
Yes ALFA means Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili . It doesn’t mean first letter of alphabet. And Romeo… like Romeo and Giuliette. I’m an Alfa owner… cheers
OK, I get it, it's the predictive text, apologies. Still doesn't answer to Romero question
Collecting lighters really sparked a interest in this guy 😬
Looking forward too seeing 👀 this thanks for taking us along Chad and Jolene 👍😎
So how long before he chops it to pieces?
I really don't think Chad will touch it . He' and Jolene will drive the Volvo 544 and enjoy it.. I could see that Chad's wheels were whirling when he was looking at the 1979 Dodge Shorty Travel Van equipped with the 318 Cu. In. V8 with a 4 speed transmission which is rare find as well. When Chad offered up the his comment that he never done a van.
and adds a small block Chevy engine.
Did Chad change his clothes for the thumbnail???
I remember that car when they were brand new. I liked the way they looked 🎉👍🙂❗️
Please leave it alone, don't touch it tat boy.
The way Chad reacts to the items shown gave me flash backs to the show and tell part of Mister Rogers neighbor hood.
In all serious though... Great Episode
The gentlemen’s collection is amazing. He has his own personal museum. The van is so neat. I’d love to have it.
please check for body mounts.
I'm sorry that car is just butt ugly. And with such low miles, you really don't want to modify it. I would just sell it to someone who like ugly cars.
if you buy it keep your fingers off of it,
Man that's a really great repurpose for that old school bldg..
It be pretty cool to interview some of these people yall interact with to see what some of their professions were and or how or what they did to allow some of the collections they have
Hey Chad,u should get that Volvo Bertone, super rare car, only just over 6000 made.Built in Turin Italy, completely new roof and pillars, not a chop.
Volvo motors the best and last forever. Had a P1800 motor in my 53 MGTD. Bullet proof.
Beautiful organically shaped car, love the Swedish sense of quality.
Also love the content Chad, greetings from the Netherlands
Hey BAD CHAD NATION...SUNDAY FUNDAY... 🐓in the🏘... MAKE A COMMENT & HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON Enjoy today's SHOW.
Here they come to snuff the rooster
Yeah, here come the rooster
You know he ain't gonna die
No, no, no, you know he ain't gonna die
@@weirdmatter yea 👍
Good to see you two having fun 👍👍
Chad....Alfa Romero, serious...It's Alfa Romeo! Ciao d'Italia.
Holy crap..what a collection...pretty cool place..gotcha another project car...I like the van...back in the day around where I lived they used to have things called Van slams...never went to one but I heard it was a hell of a time...cya tomorrow 😊
That is an awesome collection he’s got. I got my great aunts Donkey 🫏 cigarette dispenser. You push his head down and his tail comes up and a cigarette comes out its butt. 😂 Pretty funny piece.
I owned a 1958 Volvo 544 candy apple red and drove it till 1969 when the complete floor dropped out from being rusted out from driving on the beach on cape cod❤.
Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Another project that will not be completed. Add it to the list.
The Volvo 262 coupes were chopped from the factory.
Unfortunately you’ll buy it , take it home, and chop the hell out of it. Too bad.
What a great tour guys… thanks for taking us along.👍🇨🇦
The !chopped" Volvo is a Berttone designed special edition Volvo.Produced in Sweden and very sought after in scandinavia.
It was build at the Bertone factory in Torino, Italy .
No 262 C´s was ever produced in Sweden . It was somehow shipped as a assembly kit to Bertone and then the Italians rebuilded the body and chopped the roof. It was then painted and put together at the same factory in Torino . The leather interior was also produced and installed at the Bertone factory .
It’s an Alfa Romeo not an Alfa Romero!
The Volvo 262 c coupe was designed like that by bertone
Yes, they were never chopped.
Can we say he is a hoarder of collections...........LOL
We are the Bad Chad Nation Sunday Funday
Leave it alone you have stuffed enough cars already
The little Ford Capri. Built here in Melbourne. I worked at the Ford factory when they first came out. They were a total flop. Leaked like a sieve 😂
Favorite part of the the show seeing what cars are out there
Doug s. Car turned. Out. Perfect. Thanks ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Jolene, I believe the other Volvo 262 is a Bertone designed Volvo 👌
I'd love to rebuild an old p1800. That chopped Bertone Volvo, it's one of Volvo's weirder experiments, came factory chopped with the vinyl and interior done up like an italian car by Bertone, the guy that designed the Bertone X1
Please don't buy anything you will only ruin it
Bad cheaper to cut them up rather then restore them so give me my saw and stand back
Sunday Funday!!!!!!!!!!
What an enjoyable video! Thank you again for sharing!
Hi on a great Sunday! I love that Meteor he drives, such a beautiful interior and color combo! Nice old fella with great pride and beautifull collections! Thanx for sharing C&J.
😅just detail it don’t chop it
That 1961 Volvo would be a good low mile fun car just cruise in, no modifications.
Jo u take the A R 16,000❤
Is that Volvo the same as Jolene Bugatti? When it first started.
Keep Chad away from that Volvo!!!!🤣🤣
I aways favored that body Volvo car. That’s the only foriegn car I liked !
Boa tarde meu amigo parabéns pelo seu trabalho
Get it running, make sure it has good brakes and tires, then leave it completely stock! That will be a great addition to your collection!
Volvo 262 C is produced at Bertone´s factory in Italy .
They where shipped in parts from Volvo Sweden to Bertone in Torino, Italy , then rebuild and chopped and then sold at Volvo dealers .
There is a V6, B27E engine with 140 HK in it ( fuel injected ) .
6622 was produced until 1981 . 75 % was exported to the US market and only 200 stayed in Sweden .
It has been produced in the following colours and combinations :
All gold metallic with gold metallic roof. All blue metallic with blue metallic roof. Black with black vinyl covered roof and then the most common version, metallic with black vinyl covered roof ( the version in this video ) .
Fun fact : The 262 series was actually ment as a new luxury line of cars from Volvo after the " sportscar " Volvo 1800 ES went out of production in 1973 . Although customers had to wait until 1977 before the 262 C saw the day of light .
As you can see by the numbers, this is a super rare car .
Congrats on the purchase of the 544 with the low mileage .
Thats a 79 or 80 Volvo 262 Bertone Coupe, its a beauty!!!
I like your shirt bad Chad.. Where did u get it? I need one like that.. Thats my colors...
No rust and has body mounts
Wow cool Blazer, great color
I worked at the 1st Volvo dealership in Canada in Toronto in the early 70s, we had an all original 544 in the showroom, mint condition! Loved it even got to drive it from time to time! Enjoy it Chad! Please don't chop it up😂
It’s a Volvo 240 Bertone.
262
Turn it into a turnip hauler!!!
Richard Rollins bought one similar to this to customize. I think he got rid of it before he actually did anything. 33000 miles, that would make a decent driver.
Chad & Jolene thanks for taking us along on your excursion! Congratulations on your purchase of the Volvo Chad! Jolene people who own Alfa Romeos swear by them! I worked as a parts man for 49 years and at one dealership we still were an Alpha parts dealer even though they had stopped selling the cars in the US. They are back in the US again but, they are not inexpensive the one that I like is almost $80K if I could afford that I would buy a new Vette!
Nice collection of all sorts. I don't believe he would get this car because it being all original. Chad couldn't modify this in his style. Sunday funday.
85 hp why this car
The mercury Capri was built in Australia on the Mazda 323 front wheel drive chassis by ford at the same time as the Miata same chassis except rear wheel drive
I noticed that u Chad was asking Joline for permission to buy the car . I guess that is your arrangement but in my 72 years I made the money and I made all decisions how it was spent . Even when my wife had her income I never used her money or asked her to pay bills . My money was mine and her money was hers . I still hold to the man is the head of the household .
6volt, must be 3 gears and engine b16. Had one not long ago. There are conversion kits to 12volt to buy.
Volvos are so rare and beautiful in Australia 30k all day long very good buying awesome Goofy Australia
Hi Chad those Volvo Bertones came from the Factory like that to the best of my knowledge Sweet Car very rare !!!
Coolest looking little car make a great nostalgia rally car perfect for Targa Tasmania if you look it up you'll see what I mean Goofy Australia
Hey Chad, is that VW for sale..is there a way i can get the owner contact info?
I’m still lol “there u go” ….. “blow the horn and move on” I didn’t think I heard him right and had to rewind!
loved the lighter collection so beautiful
I had no idea there were that any spoons or cigarette lighters in the entire world! And a new/old Volvo 544!
Wonderful tour and thanks for taking us along. 🌴😎
Isn't the volvo similar to the car in "The world according to Garp"?
Only you mac guy ers, can bring that thing back in to cool, fer sure. From the moter city.
what a trip this one was we so lucky to see what we get to here .a school wow garage doors and instant happy days .loved everything .thanks as always
That particular Volvo are very rare and in that condition why wouldn't you buy it
That Volvo was one of my 13yr. Old self favorites. In mid 60s.
Hi chad I'm from Wales and I'm restoring 1966 Volvo 544 great cars done a couple of them enjoy it
The last Volvo 544 left the factory at 15:00 on 20 October 1965, but some few were registered as 1966 models.
The Volvo coupe was not custom it was stand chopped from the tactory
The dude is super cool , what a great way to live … has a good jimbo vibe too
That Volvo 262C was roof-chopped in the Volvo factory in Gothenburg, Sweden. I had one as a leasing car for a short period. Awesome car.
I also had a Volvo 544, 1961 model, but mine was a 12V and a B18 (1.8L) not a 6V and B16 ( 1.6L) like the one you just bought. Great car too but I destroyed it as my first car restore with no skills or patience unfortunately. These are rare as hens teeth and sell high in Sweden.
Nope it was shipped from Volvo in Gothenborg to Bertone in Torino, Italy . then rebuild and chopped, painted and assembled and then distributed to Volvo dealers and only 200 was sold in Sweden.
75 % of the total number of produced cars ( 6622 ), was exported to the US market .
that alfa romeo is a perfect car for Jolene daily cruiser .
I would love to have that Volvo . My dad worked for Volvo for 36 years
There’s no match got that lighter collection, thanks for sharing
But it has a b16 B18 was the red block revolution .
I love that series of Volvc's.
Which Ford is it that looks like the 544....1937?
@@Shmengitoot 1946 Ford coupe.

Volvo 544 is a good car motor is bulletproof 👍 SWE
