Please Japan, we want a reliable small-cc 90º Vtwin with actual performance. If you want to cheap out, at least put a 270° crank in these 300's and 400's. Or you could make a 500 to replace the former Ninja 500R.
You’ve never heard an Akra IRL then. No offense but Leo’s are the bottom-of-the-barrel choice. Listening at bike nights the Akra’s have the lowest, most even tone; Leo’s are on 18-year-olds bikes, and sound like a Civic with a fart can. Night and day. If you want pure ‘braaaap’ and to be as loud as possible, get a Leo Vince. If you want full tone and an actual performance increase, get the Akrapovic.

This is a tough one to answer to be fair. I want to say my butt dyno says the bike had more power but we did not take the bike to the dyno to prove that theory. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear having recently received this wonderful product; I Absolutely agree. Thanks for the amazing and helpful info you provide, and the fun products you offer 😁
That insert ruins the tone, adds a flappy ticky puttering noise.
The full system open can sounds pretty rad. Nice quality damped tone, good bass, lacking raspiness.
I have a z900 can buy you Yoshimura full exhaust without turning it.
Yes you can install a full system without doing any tuning. If you are happy with the performance no need to make any changes. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear Will I lose gas mileage.
How much was this full setup?
If you go with the full system it will run about $730. - Van
Is there a performance difference with or without the sound insert installed?
You will get about .75 hp more with the insert installed. - Van
Live just up the road from Sturgis I do not think anyone would notice if I put that on my wives bike! I think the Black Hills qualifies as at least a road course track..........
There is some wide open country there in South Dakota. We have driven through there a few times over the past year. - Van
Is it necessary to add a power commander? Thanks!
You do not have to install a fuel controller. I recommend installing the pipe then riding the bike to see how you feel about the performance. If you are happy then leave it, not happy install a controller. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear Thank you mate!
Please Japan, we want a reliable small-cc 90º Vtwin with actual performance.
If you want to cheap out, at least put a 270° crank in these 300's and 400's.
Or you could make a 500 to replace the former Ninja 500R.
We have had excellent luck with our Ninja 400 as well as our R3. No major issues with either bike. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear They are very reliable. But lacking some charisma.
Cutter? Wtf! Use longnose instead of cutter.
Nope, the side cutters are the way to go. You use a little bit of pressure and they grip the spring very hard. - Van
Sounds no different than my leovince slip on
The sound is pretty similar for sure. - Van
Cop calling exhausts. Let the games begin
This one is pretty quiet with the insert in to be fair. - Van
It sounds like shit without a exhaust. So much better with it, great bike tho 👍
I agree, this bike really needs an exhaust. Massive improvement! - Van
The best 😍😍
Thank you for watching! - Van
I see you have to remove the reducer or the thick gasket. Do you happen to know the dimensions specifically the diameter of the header where the slip on would originally connect? Thank you.
Sorry I do not have those dimensions. - Van
