I gained .3 of a second consistently on pad by shifting down to 3rd in final chicane, getting the extra rotation, and getting on full throttle a fraction earlier for the straightaway. Also with the pad, the car turns in far sharper if you release the throttle and brakes completely right on turn in. Idk if it's all cars after the update, but previously you could ride either alittle without much penalty understeer
Appreciate the feedback. Most people who watch these currently use Bumper and Chase cam (Bonnet is very much up there to) which is why they are chosen. Additional views would add multiple minutes to the video but the markers would stay the same in each of those whch is why I don't do that currently.

The laptimes are fixed I got a silver and 1 second from getting gold. Then when I left the game and come back to the game a hour later I was given a bronze . How's that happen any ideas why please let me know .

I managed to clock 1:24.902 with a Controller, I use no tc in the first chicane and the last corner, the rest i use tc 1 and tc 2 in the ascari chicane
Look. I will not do an online time trial. I never will do it. I have never played sport mode. I don't want 2 million credits to complete this time trial. If I want 2 million credits, I'll have to do the World Touring Car events.
Can't believe you have 3 silvers for the time trial. Really wonder what those track car combinations were... Btw I gave up on this one - top 4% world ranking at a high 1:25 and still silver =.=

Still working out how to repeat the same time at the moment and it seems that high 25 lap of mine was already a lucky lap 😅 but will certainly retry
I find getting a good exit on turn 1 to be the most challenging part about it. If you can do that and stay close behind the ghost the rest of it is a lot easier to get through. Hitting the brake point riiiight on time and holding the braking down into second, releasing brake on the first apex and simultaneously going into 3rd before continuation and follow the ghost out getting onto the accelerator early. If I can get that part I get the same high 1:25s. I should add that I haven't got gold either though im going to try again today 😂😂😂 🤞
@ I tried again yesterday and got into a 1:25.6 but on the silver side. I also noticed (compared to my own 1:25.7 ghost) that I can do better at the first chicane, but I kept losing out to my ghost on the second. Figuring those out will get me that extra 0.1 second. Thanks for sharing with more detail how you tackle the first chicane, not sure if I got your idea correctly, and while I can practise the braking, I just have to stick with TCS 3 on auto shift. A lot of people thought I am just lazy to learn MT, and I did in some cases manage a better time on MT than AT (including once in the Le Mans that got me into a top 2% world ranking time), but I still haven't gotten used to using MT on a F1 yet...
The reason for the silvers is I used to do my Pad laps on this account and Wheel times on my other. But I switched them over so they stay there unfortunately.

Yet again talking out of your ass when doing a lap on a DualSense controller. I followed your guide and your brake markers are bullshit. Almost every corner isn't made if we follow your bs guide. A 1:26.7 is the best that can be done on a controller and it's 1.3 seconds off Gold. This TT is garbage. With this update PD basically said fuck you to all controller players.

Bit harsh! I managed a 25.0 using this exact method and get gold regularly using tidgneys guides. Maybe you just need a bit more practice but there’s no need to slate tidge for something you’re struggling to do.
It's amazing that I literally show you a controller lap and then you say it's BS. I'm not sure how that's possible to fake? As shown in the video you can go much quicker than a 1:26.7 on a controller.

On tracks with many straight lines, the secondary needs to increase the speed by lowering the downforce at the rear.

Presumably within that hour, someone set a quicker lap on the leaderboard, pushing you out of the 5% band for gaining silver.
It’s not fixed lol. U just dropped as soon as someone in no 1 got a better time. This adjusts the other times.

Bro this happens all the time you got bumped cause ur slow and people are constantly setting new lap times
Times are not static, so if P1 goes quicker the laptime criteria also gets quicker for Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Please tell me your steering wheel setup. The car has so much understeering. I stuck in a 1.25.766 lap.
Default settings, controller sensitivity is on 10 (But apparently doesn't impact the wheel) and my force feedback and settings on the menu are 2/2

If you can get high 25 you just need a few more laps and some luck. Just go back in a few days and start fresh

Try traction control on 2, and short shifting to get the feeling for the car. Other than that, trial and error.
