- How to Activate/Add Jio/Airtel Cellular Plan on your Samsung Watch LTE
Samsung has Bluetooth and LTE compatible Galaxy Watch! The LTE version can receive calls and messages without being connected to a phone. However, you'll first need to activate service for your watch through the same carrier as your mobile phone.
First of all your Samsung watch should support LTE. There are models that supports Bluetooth (BTE) and there are supports LTE. So yours should be a LTE model. It uses an e-SIM and not a physical card. So you need to go to your carrier store of your phone network provider and ask them to link you phone number to your watch (your phone network carrier should support e-SIM). So your number will be the same for the phone and the watch. Before you exit the store make a test. Turn off your phone and ask to the store attendant to dial to your phone. If the setup is correct, your watch will ring or vibrate and you are able to answer through your watch.

@@Chandruar7 It's not Airtel Problem alone, if we setup using non Samsung phone, then with Airtel postpaid or prepaid, it doesnt work.
Hence I have setup by using friend's samsung phone (by inserting my sim card into his phone) and then paired back to my non samsung phone, while pairing back, you should not setup network.

@@MrAvinashmakam So that Airtel which you have tried is prepaid or postpaid. Customer care guys confirmed that prepaid wont work with this watch.

When lte is connected then smart watch gets heat and smarwatch goes to airplane automatically...after sometime it comes in normal condition...but this repetion is keep on afer 5 aur 10 seconds...its a big issue in samsung watch 4...

In phone you can use either Esim or Physical sim.After esim activation on Phone physical sim will be disabled.But after activated LTE in watch you can use sim in any phone

@@desi_blog sir i was connecting my watch with my sim with a Xiaomi device but it was not working but later i put my sim in a Samsung device and then tried to connect mobile plan and it worked after that i took a backup and put my sim again in my original device and restored ally data and it worked just fine ,now i can use it ,i did it few hours ago and now its working with Xiaomi phone

My jio number is unable to add the data plan, it's showing the error code 4001. I spoke with jio support, first they said they will complete the process from their side. Now after 4 days when I connect with them again now they are saying the issue is from the watch itself. So I need to contact samsung service for this.
