  • 1% of people worldwide are autistic, with an estimated 50 million, of whom are non-verbal.
This feature ‘So much to say: A speller’s story’ hears the story of 16-year-old George Bond, who is a non-verbal autistic and has only recently found his voice through therapy called Spelling to Communicate. Following interviews with members of his family and trained autism practitioners, this story not only addresses the challenges faced by George and his family, but it also aims to promote awareness about the Spelling to Communicate (S2C) therapy. It is for the viewing of anyone simply interested in a compelling story to people who may be nonverbal autistics or are affected by someone who is. I had the privileged of creating this documentary alongside George and his family, I hope you enjoy.
