The book of Proverbs - the book of Wisdom - places a great emphasis on children and parenting. Proverbs chapters 1 to 7 are advice given by a father to a son. Solomon is teaching us that wisdom is first taught at home. 'Honor your father and mother' is one of the Ten Commandments. I think the book of Proverbs provides commentary on this commandment. But this commentary is scattered throughout the book. I have made an attempt to bring this scattered pieces of commentary under different headings in this video. This is part 1 on Instructions to Children.
