It is an M37B1 made between 1962 to 1968, and was used buy the Army, since it didn't have the USMC modifications (lifting loops and rear light guards) The data plates show organization issued to. and exact month of manufacture can be determined by the serial number (I have that data if interested)
ua-cam.com/video/cNyUxl0MXWQ/v-deo.html /; War Reenactment D-DAY in Santander beach, very interesting day with paratrooper jumps and landing, several videos of this very interesting day, your video and continue making more videos - subscribe thank
Bonjour du Canada Sorry for my poor english the spare tire on driver door its possible its for increase the safety for the driver if a enemy shoot in this door
SaintJames40 I've only every driven a Jeep MB "Flatfender", unfortunately I didn't get video of it! It hadn't run in a while, so I used a hydraulic line from an SNJ/AT-6 Texan (same diameter as the fuel line) to help suck fuel back up through the filter and into the carb. My only suggestion would be to duck your knee under the steering column as you get in... and don't be over 6' tall.

You need to double the clutch ... you are going to smash that gearbox
I just found my next truck..
Thnx for the post
I have access to a WWII issued m-37 and it’s a lot of fun to drive. Definitely not as clean as that one but everything is still there!
There’s no ww2 issued m37. They were introduced in 51. You may be referring to a vehicle from Dodge’s WC series.
wow, those doors are thicker than i thought
Very nice. Would love to have one.

magnificent beast
You sould double clutch a m37 because they don't have a synchronized transmission.
Are the gears sync'd? Any other oddities someone who has never driven one would want to know?
So kinda like a Duece?
I see, I must be mistaken then. thank you for your time.
1st and 2nd gear on non syncro, 3rd and 4th are syncro'd
James Shride If you're driving a Deuce then be VERY careful of the shift pattern. Going from 3rd to 4th can leave you with an unpleasant surprise.
Agreed, when you get into a Deuce definitely make sure you read the shift pattern! If I remember right the M-37 only has 3rd and 4th sync'd.
I'd drive the dog shit outta that thing in the rain.
Can you make a video on how to drive a cj2a?
