    You have had the Falch Point Speed 5 for a while now.... How would you rate it over single and twin turbo lances using your 23250?

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  5 років тому +1

      I love it, not quite as aggressive as a single turbo but it's really powerful and quick. it's nicely balanced and it doesn't give the kickback you get with single or twin nozzles.

    This is why I'm better off hiring a professional to clean my driveway every few years rather than doing it myself.

    is it worth the investment,and have you had to rebuild it yet??

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  6 років тому

      Scott Ruch hey scott, really hard to say. For me yes its been worth it. Problem is these are good for 500bar, by using it even on my machine its being used at half its potential power. It works really well on my machine but its hard to say how you will find it on yours as it has less flow (gpm). You are splitting your power/flow 4 ways so compared to a single turbo nozzle it isnt as aggressive but that has its advantages as you can use it on a variety of surfaces without damage. They will jet it from 200bar @ 16lpm, as your running at 18lpm you may find it a little underpowered but its hard to sat for sure. As for rebuild it has a 2000hr service interval (depending on usage) i did however have to send it back for nozzle replacement under warranty as they dont like ice in the water flow.

      Scott Ruch oh and service kits are around £400 as they use sapphire tipped nozzles at around £50 each.

    Can't wait to see you use this bad boy in anger. Been looking at Falch equipment for a long time and when I first saw this nozzle, I was like "WTF!". You need to get the missus to record you when you do the big clean, so we get a really good look at it in action.
    Good luck with it Phil.

      I looked at this nozzle quite a while ago and realised it was costly, so I looked at the pressure washers they sell as well. Holy shit! Nice kit but the price of those is mental.
      I had an old friend that worked for Whale Tankers, who are the UK distie for Falch. If I'd known that, (before he sadly passed away), I'd have got him to get me a MASSIVE discount :)

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  7 років тому +1

      onetruecharlatan I wouldn't mind but there "normal" washers i.e ones that don't need to be pulled by an HGV lol all seem to use the same parts as most other washers. Maybe it's the purple paint job that demands the extra price 🤣

    Excellent vid, sorry I’m late to the party but really appreciate your knowledge and advice.
    Thoughts for another video: as this nozzle would be purely for the professional as the cost is prohibitively expensive for the weekend amateur, would it be possible to do a comparison/road test of a selection of nozzles so that we can see which one provides the best bang for buck please?
    Thanks again

      A double headed turbo is best value for money if you machine is capable of running one. The run around £140 and can really speed up your work. Phill

    watched a few of your video's and i have seen some of the point 5's being used....i think you will be as happy as a pig in shit as they say...lol...i do have a question for you, i have bought a clark jet 9000 for home and it comes up as a flow rate of just over 7ltr a min and 200 bar would one of the suttners work ok on this?..regards rich.

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  7 років тому

      Hi rich, I don't think any normal turbo nozzle will work on a machine with that low a flow rate. Well not properly anyway. I think the lowest suttner go on nozzle jet size is either 030 or 035. You would need an 020 or 025 nozzle to keep the correct flow and pressure. You could possibly use the smallest you can get but it won't run at full pressure. I would say Clark or machine Mart will have there own version. Sounds like you have a positive feed machine that connects straight up to a garden hose. Double check the spec coz 7lpm is quite low. Phill

      they only do one as part of a kit with a sand blasting attachment, 7.65 ltrs min or 465 an hr, either that or because the lance unscrews half way down if i could get some thing on it to allow all my karcher k4 attachments to work, cheers for the reply rich.

      richardkkirk hey rich, a guy called damian who runs Qwashers has a shop on eBay and he sells loads of attachments and convertors to allow different bits from various machines like Karcher etc to attach to a normal lance.

      Scott Ruch hi scott, dont kno if falch have a US office. You would normally have to get these from falch direct in germany. I got mine arranged via email through the german sales team on the website. They are expensive at £1640, they will jet it to your machines spec. Phill

      You can only buy them from falch direct. I made contact with them in Germany and after a week or two of bouncing emails etc, I parted with nearly £1700 and they jetted it up and sent it out. They won't sell to everyone mind you, they are quite particular about machine spec etc.

    when i commented on your other vid about this nozzle i never knew it was nearly 2 grand! does seem over priced even though its very good, surely your twin lance with 2 suttner turbo nozzles on is better and i see that set up on ebay for 160 ish for the lance and 2 nozzles, would love to see 2 falch on a twin lance though! would probably need over 30ltr min washer tho

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  3 роки тому +1

      This nozzle and a normal turbo lance are 2 totally different tools. Although the principal is the same the falch has the same sort of clean power as the twin turbo but with much less aggression. It can be used on nearly all surfaces without the risk of damage. The twin lance is a good tool but I've had quality issues with them. The suttner turbos seize up (I've been through 4 even with filters) and if the nozzles are individually filtered the increased vibrations cause the lance to split at the support weld. I've had 3 lances now and have switched to PA nozzles and no filter. This falch nozzle is quicker than a twin turbo, in fact in total clean time it's probably as quick as if not faster than a surface cleaner as it clears the muck as you go.
      Having 2 of the falchs would be an awesome tool but these nozzles are rated for 500bar and I'm only running 250 so it's effectively only being used at half it's max power. You would need some serious pressure and flow to run 2 lol.

    • @1977JohnBoy
      @1977JohnBoy 3 роки тому

      @@DirtyDriveAway yes i watched some of falch's own vids, the maintenence was interesting how they use air and wd40 after use, expect the suttners would last a bit longer with that sort of care.

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  3 роки тому +1

      @@1977JohnBoy it's not the maintenance on the suttner that's the issue it's the fact they are so susceptible to small particles of grit which chew up the inner chamber. When using on a twin setup the nozzle orifice is usually quite small. When using on block paving where there is a lot of grit it doesn't take much backsplash to get something stuck.
