Video is unedited, straight from camera. Shot in 4K 60fps, so HDR is not available on the device (only 30fps) Volume is a bit soft straight out of camera. Will post a follow up HDR edited night video soon...
That's not bad at all, good even in low light. Have you thought about trying the Xperia 1 V with the new Exmore T sensor? The video options are fantastic and include Sony S-Cinetone colour profile option. No overheating issues either.
The quality is so good! Would love to see some HDR footage as well! Try the Audio Remover as well, it's perfect. It will get rid of all the traffic noise
Alright, that zoom is wild for clarity but no zoom standard lens is doing some weird face blurry auto processing stuff. Meanwhile that is some aggressive HDR processing. That's wild.
iPhone video film quality is barely better than the Pixel8 series imo. But Pixel is improving dramatically recent generations and it is on the right way. Plus the flexibilty of Android OS, I believe Android now is much better than iOS or iPhone. It's time to abandon iPhone if you are really want smartphone industry keep innovating as it have been done last decade
This footage was captured using the Pixel 8 Pro at 4K/60 fps. If you pay attention, you might observe some flickering in low-light conditions. Do you experience the same issue ? ua-cam.com/video/1PJVavIwxoc/v-deo.html
Looks great VJ. Did anyone else see that couple at timestamp 3:32 set up a weird shot of themselves gazing lovingly into harajuku as VJ turns from left to right away from the harajuku station entrance?
Can't tell the difference between this and the video my old-ass iphone takes. All video looks the same past HD. Love your videos no matter what camera you use; its all about the vision of the videographer, what catches their eye, and how they capture it to review and share. You have the vision and that's why I come back here over and over even though there's a million other channels walking through Japan. I trust your videographic vision to show me the Japan I love to see. Thank you for being you, and never feel like you have to impress us. You do that simply by being you. Peace ✌️
Video quality is nice but using 60fps in Kantō is generally a terrible idea. Electricity is there running on 50Hz so 50fps would be the way to go... at least in the Kantō Region. Kansai on the other hand has 60Hz so... Other than that it looks nice 👌🏻
Great, if if I showed this someone 12 years ago they would piss their pants and not believe what they are seeing :D Also handheld, no gimbal. But we get used to good tech real quick, but just try to use any phones video recording features in 2012 :D But what to do with lens flares and annoying green dots on the screen, well probably not film directly in the sun, but anyway :D its lenses you cannot cheat physics, maybe in another 12 years we will have some new tech that will seem mindblowing

Did you use a gimbal?
Using gimbal stabilizer or just normal stick?
Would love to see your gimbal setup, and do you use the default camera app? Brilliant video as always, I love going on these strolls!
I have one , is really like this the stabilization... Incredible!
the quality is damn good
19:26 - in reflection it can be seen - used gimbal
Glad to see some love being given to Android. From my time over there 90% of Japanese use iPhones. I'm an Android user myself.
Pixel is making inroads, but I think it's basically because the Japanese would rather buy American than Korean (ie., Samsung).
It is beautiful. We love Japan. I also bought Pixel 8 pro. I should have waited but i couldn't. Love from Turkiye 🇹🇷🇯🇵
Very interesting indeed!!!,thank you V.J!!!.
Amazing quality and place. Love to see more 4K30 and maybe HDR in daylight.
Thanks for the awesome video! I just got my P8P & will be in Japan next month for 2 weeks. Can't wait to use it 😁
are you still on P8P, how has the experience been so far?
Looks really good
The picture is absolutely beautiful. But the lens switching is horrific.

Never use this setting at night! Notice many of the lights flashing because of 60fps. But I really like the video. Many tourist back in Japan.
Nice to see the Pixel finally catching up with video. Still a bit behind, but is definitely getting there!

Hello ' " Happy autumn fall " 🧡
Looks great this year. Still some noise in low light areas but other than that Google is finally competing with video and not just photos.
Alright, that zoom is wild for clarity but no zoom standard lens is doing some weird face blurry auto processing stuff. Meanwhile that is some aggressive HDR processing. That's wild.
9:35 Filming the "No Photos" sign!
Looks awesome on my Sony TV data is showing at 4k stream.
素晴らしい動画ですね😊
映像がクッキリハッキリと映っています。手ぶれ補正も強力に効いています。アイフォンと肩を並べたなと思いました😊
Love the color very soft the reds not pop in out screaming look at me! Lol due to you editing it abit warm

Anyone know what that building is called in the thumbnail? That looks like it has a garden growing in the middle of it?
Image quality is great! Too bad HDR doesn't work at 60fps.
Damn good
It feels like it tries to over-process small darker details, otherwise stellar, would love to see the HDR capabilities

With gimball? And was most of it on the ultrawide cam?
Did you use a gimbal ? or you just hold the phone by hand and walk and record ? ジンバルを使いましたか? それとも携帯電話を手で持って歩いて録音しますか?

Awesome
Video quality looks great! Better than Samsung
Far better than samsung
It focuses on people that walk in front of the camera for a brief second too quickly
is the stabilization ON or OFF? I encountered many phones suffer with stuttering when using 4k60fps with stabilization ON.
So much blown highlights.
🎥💯
was this on a gimbal?
Do you use gimbal or record in by hand
❤❤❤
Did your phone got warm while shooting, did it stop recording due to overheating or overheating sign
watch the full video again. It was non-stop recording.
Do you use a gimbal?
Malaysian spotted (with that distinctive mandarin accent) 3:45
i think in future pixel can beat apple in videography😘
It will beat when video boost will be available in December.
What's the file size for this video?
The ultra wide is soft and the telephoto isn't perfect for panning. Great video though!!
ultra-wide is soft in every smartphone and periscope has panning issues because of the lenses.
A little too noisy for a flagship, no? I think it lacks shadow detail too 🤔
Noisy at low light which is true because it tries to capture detail rather than smoothen out with noise removal.
😊🥰❤️❤️😘❤️🇯🇵

Looks better on Samsung with better stabilization in my opinion.
