- You guys haven't seen it, because it hasn't gone well and I've don't a TERRIBLE job at informing you on my escapades, but.. I've been extremely focused on the big river, and attempting to get a catfish as close to 100 POUNDS as I can this year. Ive done a lot this year, and making that a main goal just made sense. After some trials, tribulations, lack of bites, help from a lot of good buddies, working as a team, I FINALLY CAUGHT A BIG ONE!!! Gunna keep sooting for a BIGGER ONE though!!! PAAA POWWW!!!

For those whom may be concerned.. I'm stubborn and I didn't go to the doctor, even though not being able to breath was scary. Possibly an allergic reaction to poison ivy? Who knows, I feel fine now.

One of my favorite videos of you two. I remember watching it ten months ago. Hope you two fish together some this year. I had the pleasure of fishing with Spencer this year in March and it was my best fishing trip ever.

Thanks Spencer for taking Josh out and putting him on a fish of a lifetime. Josh...congrats and glad you are doing better. I got bit by a brown recluse several years ago and just about lost my big toe. After many skin grafts and lots of luck I kept the toe bit still cannot bend it or feel it. For such a small critter they can do sone damage. Took about 8 months for my toe to heal. It was touch and go for awhile...especially when the doctors kept saying they didn't think my toe would make it. It was scary. My advise....never put in your boots until you shake them out. Especially if you are just slipping them on without socks!

I’m definitely glad that good old Spencer could help you out at finally getting on a big kitty cat over 50lb!!! Now you have to try for one that is over 75lbs!!! Lol!!!! But I can tell you that if you keep putting in the time the time will definitely pay off for you buddy!!! Spencer is definitely amazing at catching some really nice cats!!! Blues are about the best tasting freshwater you can find, with the possible exception of crappie... great video guys.

Hah. My biggest blue kitty on the muddy MO is 64lbs and I've fished blues only once and caught only one. I retired from blue cat fishing that day. We put in a Kaw point in KC.
