- Harvesting ol' Kermits for just there legs seems like a waste to me. The legs are good, but what about the rest of him? Brain, body, guts, vent, and butt? Jor-Dan and I set out on his dingy hoping to get a meal for ourselves. Once that was accomplished the real fun began. Took a bit for me to get on board, but when I did it was ONE AFTER ANOTHER! PAAA POWWW!!!

Definitely an awesome day of fishing for kitties. A lot of those were perfect eaters. Great work catching the rod too.
I have to throw this out there for you guys who lose gear. I would find an unbelievable amount of lost gear while snorkeling in fresh and salt water as a kid. Then, I worked on a lobster boat and we would sometimes have to drag for our 'lost' gear (because the water was deep). The set up was a length of chain with links cut like "j" hooks, welded onto the chain length and attached to a floating rope (polyester) It's hard to explain in text, but I'm sure you can find how 'the drag' is made on the internet. You do have to know the spot or GPS it and drag a search pattern, but we never failed to find our gear, and many times other peoples' gear. It's a tradition we bring other people's dragged up gear to the public dock for the owners to hopefully reclaim it. There is a deep tradition of returning peoples' found fishing gear' here, as it's their means of making a living.

Awesome! Always fun watching yout two... When I lived out in Colorado, I was trolling for Wipy-Dipy's on nearby lake (I lived in Loveland)... Anyways, thought I hooked into a big one and lost my pole... A couple hours later I was lucky enough to catch my pole again. It didn't still have a fish on it like Jordan... Turns out it was just a snag-but at least I got my fishing pole back.

That's so awesome u guys got the rod back.. I kinda did the same thing this year.. was my first time out and I forgot to set the drag and a carp ripped my pole right out of the pole holder while bank fishing.. I ended up getting pissed and yanking my other rod and I somehow snagged the line and pulled in the pole and the fish!! And like I commented on your wife's video.. watching your videos got me back into fishing so kinda awesome we have something so rare happen to both of us!!

I’ve used bull frogs for catfish and have never even gotten a bite, but I’ve had a lot of success with leopard frogs for catfish. Have also heard the bullfrogs give off some scent or juice

You should definitely check out the pole holders by Steve Douglas!!!! They are definitely awesome for sure!! I baught like 6 of them in two different styles!!! I’m pretty sure you won’t break one and you definitely won’t loose a pole using them!!!! They are all steel or aluminum with a rubber coating over it!! They are definitely really nice!!! Definitely look them up!!! He has a UA-cam channel also catching giants also!! Oh and yes they are kitty cats!!!
I can confidently say ive never had a rod go overboard yet. Glad he got the rod and reel back though.

Back in the day when it was legal to use frogs for bait here in Michigan, they were some of the best bait to use for bass fishing.
Good Hat ..I caught a 44 pound Flathead money fish on a bullfrog that was 13 inches long at 4:30 am
When I clean frogs I hold their legs and smack their heads on my cleaning fish table a old sears kitchen sink plus counter of 3 feet . It stops the zombie frog crawl with his front legs which is creepy 😂. And I soak them in salted water over night in fridge . And the legs won’t jump out of the skillet!
You catch some and had fun. That is what counts

Nope never had to catch frogs for food, I come from a very advanced country we have these things called supermarkets crammed full of food where you can exchange this thing called money for food, maybe one day you'll catch up and have these stores too, once your little backwater country develops into a civilised community

Josh, I love your videos and I think you're great, but I've lived in Texas for 60 years and I've never seen anyone wearing that hat. :0
Two buddies and i were fishing on a river and after it got dark we hit the bank a caught a few frogs Buddy gets one out of the container and it jumps out of his hand he put his foot on it to keep it from getting away and squashed it. We give him a hard time about it and tell him he has to use it. His frog didn't set for a minute before he caught a flathead .He unhooks the flathead and drops it back down couple minutes later he has another one. Me and the other guy reeled in as fast as we could and stepped on our frogs and joined the fun. Releasing the inner juice seems to be the trick.
