I would guess that meal was vegetarian Tom yum without Nam prik pao (Thai chili jam), look so appetizing. In Thailand, most houses will have what we call Edible vegetable garden fence for day to day cooking ingredients such as Chili ,lemon grass, basil, kaffir lime tree ,lime tree, etc. Normally Thai people do not like planted their tree by seed but using grafting method to save time and control the quality.
Yes probably something close to that Dakala! I tend not to try to make real Thai recipes and rather just use the techniques and flavours I have learned from Thai people along our journey. The real star was the fresh organic veggies 🥦🍄🌶

Thank you Umesh! Thailand has great reception through the country and inexpensive phone plans. We usually just use our phones and Hotspot when we need to upload.
Are you vegan? Otherwise how do you have access to meat? Just buy it? How far are you from stores etc?

@Mike Michael Thailands internet coverage is actually pretty good. You can get home wifi pretty much anywhere, and I've seen speeds up to 300 mbps. Open kitchens are the best way to cook! Especially when it's super hot, you don't want to be inside over a hot stove, unless you have AC. Not too worried about all the critters, they usually don't bother you. Plus we have cats 😄
I like the way of life, just like you guys, this is the basis of life.
