My father an ex tenor with Welsh National Opera Co asked that we play this version at his funeral . It was his dedication to my mum who'd passed away in 2016. We did indeed play this as my father's casket left the Chapel. Each full moon I look up and say 'Song to the moon dad' . I hear you.
Too bad it isn't performed more often. Economics comes into play when there is really only one riveting piece and the rest is sort of preview and postlude. I have seen some very seductive presentations and keep hoping they'll show up on UA-cam. Now that's entertainment!

Every performance showcases their, skillful acting and smooth, soothing vocals leaving one mesmerized by the gift to our eyes and ears! Both cause the listener to “feel” even when we do not know the language. Thanks be to God for His creation of these exceptionally talented musicians! … and thanks to UA-cam for the pleasure to listen to performances at our leisure.
