The Book of Mormon says the Lamanites used bows as a weapon (for hunting). The Nephites also did.
Notice one of those depictions depicts someone with a bow, when you typically picture the native Americans/non-Europeans as having spears or javelins...

Native Americans used bows around 500 AD. These petroglyphs are dated around 1000 AD. The bow and arrow was certainly used by then.

What makes me mad is it's private properties. It should be BLM land not some rich folk land.

We took everything from them and left them on sad reservations. The white legacy had wounds throughout.
      Peace.

While I acknowledge some white people did terrible things in the past, what I don't condone is the fact those things are constantly being held over the head of the modern generation of white people that had nothing to do with it. Every race has had bad people in it in the past.

Can I ask you a question?
Haven't all races done bad things in their history?
Why place the blame and hate for what only a portion, not the entire, population of one race did on the modern generation of that race when a vast majority of the modern generation of that race are nothing like that and had absolutely nothing to do with it?

Why don’t we use the indigenous name for these canyons? “Nine Mile Canyon” sounds so lame and doesn’t give you any clue to the beauty this canyon holds. It’s the biggest art gallery on earth and the name is simply nine mile canyon? And why is there a TRIBE named after a white dude who was probably racist?
