Can you do periodic follow up videos to share experience overall? If it dies after 2-3 months or 50-60 hours, that will be helpful to now. Or if the remote start stops working.
will do ...actually i use it fairly often...i use it for small projects around the property.works great hasnt had a problem for vacuums or my grinders as i filled it upbw gas and im trying to run it dry for storage
Hi, really enjoyed your videos on this unit. That oil change "system" is very bad though. The first thing I would do is put a remote oil change hose on it like this, Drainzit Oil Drain Hose - 20mm Port, Model# HON1420-C.DRA Do you know what size that drain plug bolt is?
no i dont havent been in the shop for a bit.had a motorcycle accident so been down about 2 months getting better .i will look today see if i can tell what size it is.yes that drain system is horrible
How’s the generator holding up ? I’ve been looking into them but you don’t see a lot of reviews in-depth about them. Maintenance wise who would work on these? Maintenance as in carburetor or anything internal other than the oil and spark plug?
So far no problem used it last week to run my jackhammer on the other side of my property.ran it about 2 hrs one day the 3 hrs the next no issues.as far as repair work I'm assuming most small engine repair shop unless your a diyer.its a tight fit inside that case but maintaining it can be done with generally available tools ..oil ,spark plug, carb.if you do take it apart I recommend taking lots of pics for reference when putting it back together
@@professionalbaddass yes I am a DIYer. I’ve done the maintenance on all my other generators. Generators like the predator I was getting a hard time getting the parts to it. I wonder if that generator has the same issues though or are they available. I’ll keep looking into it. Thank you for responding 👊🏾
if im not mistaken the isr was the first inverter style generator..the one i have is the newer version..at least thats what im understanding from looking at different sites
Did you clean the little orifice and make sure you can blow thru it from the bottom.im going home today to try and figure a way to put a filter in line ..mine clogged again..started surging and had trouble starting...checked that same orifice and it was clogged again...only took a couple min to fix but hate having to keep doing it
Poor design oil drain system. I would use a fluid extractor through the oil fill cap. Super clean super easy. Manual extractor would be perfect for the situation.
yes i do agree poor drain design.i am still trying to get all the oil out.i had a predator before which is what im comparing it to..the predator by far no mess oil change. still running great no issues.
That's a stupid design to drain the oil. I ordered one received it. It was running rough the push start didn't work or the remote. I think it's a poor design
Mine ran fine when I got it but as I use it more I'm finding that little port on the carb.is easily plugged.i have a video on it also swap out the spark plug with a good one. I'm going to swap the fuel filter it comes with with a quality one I'll do a video when I do ..should be soon as winters coming to the Texas hillcountry last time it was pretty bad
Hey it talks in the manual about grounding. It is a required thing for say useing with a small camper for 3 days?

Could you share the type of battery charger you use? Pls
It comes with one you plug in a port on the front.
I understand. I got my genny second hand and it didn’t come with the charger. I called pulsar to try to get one and they couldn’t figure it out.

Hi what’s the difference between this model and the pulsar PG4500iSR? I can’t find anything describing the different models

How much oil does it takes to fill it? Thanks!
Sorry been a while so don't remember. Just put some in and kept checking it
@@professionalbaddass LOL! Thanks! I am in the process of purchasing it, is why I asked when I came across your video.
@@sounddoctrine6159 it does come with one bottle of their oil
The one I bought from Amazon still doesn’t work right.

Good video. Very poor oil drain design though.
