Delicious in Dungeon is one of the few animes in which the English dub is my default preference.
Even from my Japanese perspective, I felt that the dubbing was excellent, as the tone of the English pronunciation was taken into account so as not to spoil the impression of the original.
In the anime industry, there are some cases where poor translations are made that reflect biased ideas, but on the other hand, it is a text that is faithful to the original source of this work and also makes slight changes to accommodate cultural differences. I appreciate the performer's work.
Me with Frieren. The mature warmth of Frieren and sultry carelessness of Übel sold me, but it is excellent through-out.

Me too. I think the english dub is starting to sound natural and in character. Before it sounds so awkward and so fake that I can't stand hearing it. But now, I kinda like it.

Even that takes time for me to like it. I only watch it in eng dub because at the time, only eng dub is available in the internet
@@thaqwacarpet3685 even japanese voice acting often leans more to natural tone now. Less "theatric" and more "film" speech. Beastar voice acting for example, the infliction of their tone show more variety and emotion while still being low strung.

It's originate from the NA ver of Sailor Moon where american change the art style to fit "western" standard. It's became a meme, even Hatsune Miku has one.
