"Jeff bezos wants socialism"
That's the stupidest thing anyone has said
That is because people in the US never understood socialism or communism ... so people like Candace can continue with this nonsense
@@Brent-ln9bc no this isn't mentioned anywhere, you haven't read marx.
Nah, "Hitler was a Socialist" is the dumbest thing ever said.
@@Brent-ln9bc Marx wasn't even a socialist, he just wanted to use socialism as a jumping point into communism, which is an anarchist system. Also by that definition capitalism is totalitarianism because it's Total control of the social, economic, and political spheres, by the Corporations. @S L Too bad he can't see through Dore, though, as he was recently on JRE.
I love Candice’s comparison to animals in the wild. How would honeybees build their hives without a profit incentive????
Bees are a monarchy 😂 so if that's the system you want I'm sure there's a country with a dictatorship you can go to 😂😂
In animals that herd together like lions, wolves, elephants… they generally all work together for the success of everyone. There are limits to what individuals can achieve alone and no limit to what individuals can achieve together. How a community should be structured should be based on its needs. That’s what Candice fails to understand, that humans instinct is to herd together with those who have the means to achieve their needs.
Every person who can in a society should have their own job/expertise that allows the community to thrive. This concept is a bit harder and more impersonal in large cities and with the emergence of big box stores like Walmart and Amazon pricing out small businesses that tend to be community oriented.
@@jackclifford6543 no the queen doesn't mete out any "orders" and is just a baby making machine. The worker bees make all the operation decisions collectively.
@@ANTSEMUT1 I was joking a little with the queen thing but since you mention drones they are the lazy bees that only mate with the queen and exploit all the worker bees hard work. Doesn't exactly sound like the none profit utopia the original post was trying to suggest 😂😂
@@theinvisiblewoman5709 that's also highly inaccurate Lions have a pride leader or 'alpha male' which is dictated by the strongest male lion. Any other rival is banished from the pride. At least Russell knows a little bit what socialism is about...

Candace Owens is one of the worst
Russell: "They have all the money!:
Candace: "So? What? They should have to pay all the taxes too?"
Logic: "Yes, Candace. That is correct."
It’s a certain percentage of their income that they pay. Candace is too smart to play dumb on this. She’s a sociopath liar.
Oh shit Logic is in this video too? JK
Future Candace: No, make people who don't have the money pay the taxes.
The top 15% pay 85% of the taxes. But she never mentions the fact that the top 15% make more than 85% of of the overall income. They are UNDER paying. Classic case of figures don't lie, but liars can figure.
@Nuclear Sam Yes exactly. Even more facts/data that Candace Owens conveniently omits in her "pity the wealthy" sales pitch.
“The rich wants socialism” makes just as much sense as “The pigs want to be bacon” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂
Tu ché
Cause the rich already have money and will not lose it…..while nobody else will able to achieve the levels of wealth that they have….the rich will remain in permanent power…..
@@SuperWhiteshadow1 That makes no sense under a socialist system they’d be targeted. Regardless if they have money already or not. It’s not like they’ll be grandfathered in.
@@Bambino_60 *touché
Candice: Rich people pay ALL the taxes
Panama Papers: Am I a joke to you?
it's such a bummer Brand didn't know that bit. Would have been the first time someone spouting that crap has been confronted with the facts.
We need to get rid of the loopholes. It’s naive to think only the wealthy can pay for new social programs. Sweden or the Nordic countries tax all their citizens at higher rate and have low tax rates for corporations. There’s multiple reasons why the Nordic countries are good place to run a business
Rich people pay the most in taxes because they have most of the money but that isn't the same as paying your fair share.
If Bill has 10k and Jeff has 100k of course Jeff is gonna pay more in taxes but to Jeff 10% leaves him with 90k left. To Bill 10% leaves him with 9k left. Jeff still has 10 times more money and can still invest, buy a home and a car. Bill just lost a month's rent.
Well, numbers wise they do pay the majority of the taxes. However, proportional to income, they're paying a fraction of what us peasants are paying.
Rich people make all the money, so they should pay all the taxes.
Or they could pay their employees whole lot more, meaning they would have less themselves, so they could pay less in tax and their employees could pay more.
I felt my IQ drop when Candace said Bezos wants socialist policies
I got in so many arguments in the comment thread for that video over that same point. People saying “he wants socialism because he wants to do away with home ownership”. What? 🤨 “Workers owning the means of production” is a far cry from “workers owning nothing, not even their houses”. That is literally, by definition, about as far from socialism as you can get. It’s just the same old conservative “call everything you disagree with socialism” playbook.
I've heard so many conservatives say the same thing about Elon Musk & Zuckerberg & him that I can't even believe they managed to connect dots to come to that conclusion.
@@TheCommonS3Nse Home ownership is indeed planned to be obsolete ... should pay per month ... that is still not socialism
She (and apparently most conservatives) use "socialism" as an empty buzzword, vague and plastic enough that it can apply to anyone they dislike
Its just the unbelievable viewpoint that any individual that deviates at all significantly from my ideology is immediately in the most extreme end of the opposite side of the spectrum.
Bezos is more left than I am? Must be a socialist!
Candace Owens: "Compassion doesn't belong in politics."
Also Candace Owens: "Who's gonna take care of and look out for the poor old one percent?"
Not true about America. The framers imagine a nation of stewardship that preserved the rights of individuals.
Government is the middle man between working class and owner/ investors class . Both parties work for the owners. When the dims are called socialist that is fukin lame . They dont even support Keynesian demand side economics , also called democratic socialism, which is also lame . Fact is the owner class is an unneccessary and parasitical monster to be eliminated.
Russell brand: 15 people have more wealth than 80% of the entire world.

She thinks Jeff Bezos wants socialism? He's arguably the most successful capitalist ever. She can't be that stupid. She'd collapse into a singularity of sheer stupidity that swallows any intelligence that wanders too close.
Hahaha
When she says taxation is theft, she is literally saying that a person gains nothing from being an American. Any business that operates here, benefits from all our infrastructure.
and who pays the taxes that pay for that?
Everytime Candace talks to anyone who's midly left leaning, she exposes how little she actually knows about the things she's saying. Joe Rogan made Candace Owens look like a deluded idiot without even trying.
i remember when the Ahmaud Arbery killing happened and she went to twitter to talk about how his attire wasn't very jog-like and his inspection of the construction site was highly suspicious, implying that he wasn't innocent and the men were somehow justified in executing him. she's a horrible person.

Candice Owens never got past ‘Fischer Price’s my first political book’ … Atlas Shrugged.
A billionaire and a worker have the same 24 hrs in a day. A billionaire cannot and does not work 1000x harder than a worker. They’re standing on the shoulders of lots of them.

@@hudson2441 There's hard work, sure, but the key part of that is building a business. Working hard is necessary but not sufficient, you also need to work intelligently.
I am pretty sure Atlas Shrugged is a romantic exercise. I find it hard to stomach people who take it as gospel. There are so many child like rants. I don't know or want to know about Ayn Rand but that book seems like a book of contradiction that I find it hard to think it was an attempt to put out a serious philosophical work. Republican's rebuttal to companies paying 0% in taxes is "they're smart". If the average citizen were to do that "they're criminals".

I did find the things she said about why she came to certain conclusions really sad.
Love the personal attacks on Candace Owens from the left. The problem with socialism is, eventually you run out of other people's money. Sanders, career politician, the multimillionaire, with the 3 houses, wants socialism for the rest of us. The only kind of "Socialism" that's alive today is China, and only because they're riding on the back of American purchasing power, if we stopped buying their products, they'd collapse, and our neighborhood socialists would blame capitalism, when that's the only thing keeping China afloat.
It’s hard to even care about anything in America when your almost guaranteed to work over 40 hours a week just to make the bare minimum to survive until you get sick or your car breaks. The “individual” won’t get anywhere alone here

Now we inherit a crumbling bridges and roads and they are the one saying we don't have money to pay for it.
She'll talk about the rich paying 80% of the taxes but always leaves out that they make an even higher percentage of the money after doing a statistically negligible percentage of the labor.
My very first thought when she said they pay 80% of the taxes was oh wow she understand percentage. 10% of $100 is 10 times more then 20% of $5, but obviously one person in this situation despite contributing much less is having their life impacted in a much more profound way.
Yes, you have to consider the flip side. What percentage of their income do they actually pay in taxes. Most people are paying around 15%. The recent IRS leak showed some of the richest people pay around 1%. So if they’re paying +80% of the taxes AND they’re only paying 1% of their income in taxes, how much would the country pull in if they were paying the same percentage as everyone else? Would M4A be “unaffordable”? Would eduction be severely underfunded?

Here’s the thing, Candice always leaves out important details to make what she’s saying sound true. She left out all the tax write-offs the rich use to lower the amount they pay. That’s how Amazon got away with paying 0% taxes a few years ago.
That's built into the American economy, for we give breaks to business expansion, such as reinvestment into itself, like what Amazon did. They will eventually have to pay the taxes on that expansion, so the government can take all the time in the world to wait for the bucks to roll in. There's debate over whether it's better to pay off the taxes now or later; actually, there's debate whether taxes are good at all, for it's never actually the business that pays for it. It's always passed down to the consumer where the tax is built into the products' price points.
@@Pun116 Every highway you drive on was paid for with taxes and bonds (bonds simply being taxes dumped on future generations out of sheer laziness and lack of common sense). I love when these "conservatives", who are actually classic liberals, go on their rant about individualism. In reality one of the cornerstones of classic liberalism is the social contract! Her worldview would not exist without the belief in a social contract! Her worldview is hypocritical and unattainable.
It was Dumbass Kulinski's pathetic strawman that came to the, idiotic conclusion, that Owens lacks a social contract.
That means it's completely wrong by default.
@@SaintKimbo I started writing my comment before hearing Kyle say anything about social contract.
Key luminaries involved in the founding of liberalism, such as John Locke, never used the phrase social contract. The only rights locke would say you give up as part of society would be the right to judge disputes, giving that up to a judge agreed on by your society. That's a far cry from the level of taxation and redistribution most modern leftists would assume is needed by a social contract.
@@destinal_in_reality Jean-Jaques Rousseau played an instrumenral role in the forming of liberalism. To suggest that liberalism is the brain child of Locke alone, shows a lack of understanding on the subject.
@@logicalcomrade7606 I'm not saying he's the only one, just that they're not all behind an expansive social contract by any means.

I love how seemingly in Candace Owen's mind once the money is in the rich persons pocket it doesn't matter how it got there. Taxing that person is automatically theft even if all the people working under them that made them that money are living paycheck to paycheck and on food stamps or whatever.
Money is the only thing they like. If they could hump it like they do the flag, they would😄

Candace is the textbook example of the Dunning-Kruger effect
She has it very bad! There is no cure!
Ehh, I don't think it's D-K with her. She just takes orders and reads the script while relying on her female blackness as a firewall. I'm not even saying she's stupid; I just don't think she cares about any position unless she's gettin' paid. She self-contradicts ALL the time, her points are incoherent, she can't debate past the thin outer shell and uses her manufactured attitude and loud mouthing to interrupt anything an interlocuter says (like in this video).
I mean, Joe Rogan obliterated Candace Owens during the entirety of his podcast. And he doesn't even talk or think politics 24/7
Yeah that was soooo bad, he also made dave Rubin look really stupid too when they were talking about regulations.
It baffles me that some people still take the Owens and Shabibos and Rubins seriously. A DMT smoking, self proclaimed ‘idiot’ and ‘ape’ comedian/ufc commentator absolutely dismantled their stances with basic questions and logic
@@thisfool89 because neither of them are that good at explaining the case for liberty, how "regulation" as in arbitrary rules rather than protection for individual rights, backed through violence and threats of violence is generally a harmful solution and Joe assumes that if not done through violence and threats of violence, something wouldn't be done at all. He probably doesn't put it that way, but that's clearly the assumption he's making.

Kyle: You think he wants to give democratic control to his company to all the workers? That’s literally the last thing he would ever want to do.

Credit to Russell here. Questions for Candace:
1. Are all taxes "theft"?
2. If all taxes are theft, would you support zero taxes for everyone.
If you want to know if something is unethical, ask yourself "what if everyone did this"? Examples: "I don't like cleaning out my car ashtray, so I throw my cigarette butts out the window". Or, "I poured out used motor oil in the ditch behind my house". What if everyone did that? I got all my customers to pay in cash last year so that I could pay zero sales tax and zero income tax. What if everybody did that Candace?
