    I can't understand that example. In the first case, if you draw in the
    opposite direction the line (to the "pole") it would move to the left
    instead of to the right. And in the same pole, all objects should have
    the same deviation. Am I wrong?

    What if you walk toward the center from the equator?

      the same thing will happen. in the northern hemisphere, moving objects are deflected to the right regardless of the direction of travel. The Coriolis affect increases as you approach the poles.

    In your demonstration, the sheet of paper is moving underneath the ruler which means that a helicopter could hover in the air in while other geographical locations would rotate toward the helicopter. This does not happen in reality.
