Yes you are absolutely right the petrol pump & the whole surrounding businesses is owned by Palathra group, Changanassery. They are one of the most famous construction magnites of Central Travancore Region. And yes I too did see an almost abandoned dual tone (from far, as I have never been very close to the car, the closest you can see the car from M.C.Road about 40-45 meters away, so from afar it looks like a dual tone) Silver Grey definitely a 1986/88 model Cressida. And each time I look at it I wonder how come these people are not aware of what an indestructible bullet proof premium saloon is just left to be junked & rusted. Honestly I have seen this in that same position & place for more than 5-7yrs. "It's a wolf in Sheep's Costume".
@@jeangt9865 some years before I have been there . While travelling to somewhere we pulled over over car and I just went there . @@trulyakhil: Cool, honestly I see other cars too so I was like either it is all owned by Palathra group or their families that once used and now it’s just laid for rest, secondly rarely do we get to see these cars move out from this yard, in fact they haven’t even moved the petrol filling⛽️ machines, so at a glance it looks like abandoned or resting place for such beauties. The worst part is during 2018 mega flood these cars were just lying there. With an exception of few that could be moved out. Will try one of these days to see if the car is still there.

Yes, I think that Aachayan was the team leader, cause the way the Thomasachayan explained and narrated this mass and adventurous journey is more precise and fills in all the blanks, which I didn't find in this Sir's narration, mainly because it seems he is not either fully aware to what all happened in their entire journey or he is missing something. If Lal Jose and Baiju chaettan didn't capture moments of their adventurous journey from Kerala to London then people like you would have said, it seems exaggerated. Infact Thomachayan and Ikka's story seems completely non fabricated or even slightly exaggerated cause it was a possibility back then cause there was nothing like whether I'm big or I'm the boss or ego among people of different cultures, race, caste or creed, cause majority of them worked together as one, as a friend, as a family, it was more like I scratch yours and you scratch mine hence there was peace among different nationalities. Secondly most Gulf and Middle-East countries run on influence and connections, meaning if you have source and connections you can get anywhere and to almost anybody it's called "Vastha". Unlike today, whereby if you have the money you're the boss. I can definitely tell you there are many such incidents that happened during Gulf war, infact the Persian Gulf War affected so many people not only the people of Kuwait, also the neighboring countries like Saudi & Iraq and I bet there are many individuals and families that have a story to tell of their own during Gulf war. My family was one of them, and we have our own experiences too, though I was very young, a toddler I don't remember anything but my parents still say to this very day, that we had to leave most of our belongings behind and just carry important documents and leave with what we wore. Imagine now with toddlers (I & my sister), similarly think of the families that couldn't leave together. Another kind of great example is of Late Mr. Mathunny Mathews aka Toyota Sunnychayan Kuwait. What you see is in the hindi movie Airlift is just a tip of the Iceberg. Whereby in reality even as of today it is still unimaginable, cause it is not easy to Airlift 170,000 people for FREE when you're at a gun point with only life and death in the hands of the beholder. It is like playing with Petrol & fire for nearly 60 days (13 August - 11 October, 1990)as in you can die at any given point. In simple words due to the current pandemic our Central govt aka Modi govt. Did come up with a mission called Vande Bharat Mission which is to repatriate stranded Indians back to their respective States but what they did is charge it's very own Citizens, as in we have to buy our own tickets, when they govt could have charged an affordable rate to its passengers, infact the price of tickets is 40% higher than the usual rates and still calls it a Repatriation Mission. When you charge someone it no longer can be said as Repatriation. That is why even to this very day the Airlift evacuation of 1990 is hailed as the world's largest Civilian Evacuation in modern history and this has not only made headliness to be proud for the Indians of the gulf. Infact due to this Evacuation, one of the most underrated Airlines of Asia, our very own Air India holds the Guinness Book of World Records to this very day for the most people evacuated by a civilian airline, as a result of this effort. It is believed to be the largest civilian evacuation in history. The Indians based in Kuwait also helped in the evacuation efforts.
