EVERYTHING looks delicious and incredibly well presented. I am 1000% going to try this omelet recipe. Never would have thought to have eaten it with sour cream and salsa too. Genius!
Sophie! Just a friendly tip from a culinary background :) Try using the back bone of your knife when scraping on the cutting board. Painful for me to see a nice sharp knife being hurt on the blade. You can also put wet towel on the bottom of the cutting board to prevent it from sliding. Love you xo
Finally a cooking video from Sophie! I love watching Jen and Weylie cook but I KNOW Sophie has been holding out on us! She’s always cooking in her vlogs! Bout time
I’ve followed ur whole gallbladder removal journey so far (just had mind removed 2 wks ago). Seeing you eat all this gorgeous food gives me hope that soon I’ll be able to too 💝👏
Fun tip for picking citrus: The heavier the citrus the more juice. Bigger isn’t always better or juicer lol. Heaviest compared to its size. I used to be a farmers market produce picker for a restaurant in Hollywood 😘
I just got put on to harmless harvest coconut water and its truly life changingggg! I saw another food blogger who did a matcha and coconut water drink and it's really good too!
such a great video! tip : if you don’t want to spoil your knife, when you put for example your vegetables in your pan, you have to use the other side of the knife (the one which isn’t sharp). I don’t know if that’s clear, but like that your knife will stay sharp!
Avocado is good with lox bagels too (and you can put the cherry tomatoes face down so they don’t roll off when you eat it). And I learned from Chrissy Teigan to peel an avocado instead of scooping to get every last bit of it. I always enjoy your cooking videos. 🙂
I always make scrambles because omelets are so intimidating to me but you made it look so easy! Also, that brand of chicken tenders is the best. Doesn’t get all dried out like others 🙌🏽
omelet definitely tastes better when you do it with butter instead of oil. I’ve learn that from Ben from Judy’s Life and damn, it changed everything, a dash of milk ugh🤤🤌🏽 chef’s kiss
Omg your salad bowl.. literally everything you have is amazing! Please share were you got the bowls And also those beautiful glasses that Jenn showed in her video at your house.
I love this!! wow it does look PERFECT!! going to try to make this!! and I love the black pan you got! I was debating of what color to get! but now that I see you using the black on I might get that one it matches everything. FYI where did get your black chopping board
Wow, what a nice and satisfying breakfast and I will definitely try this next time when I have a big day. btw, can I use Greek yogurt to replace sour cream cos I don't have one.
Have you had oyster mushroom soup before? If not, you should try it! Super yummy and healthy. All you need is Oyster Mushrooms (the ones you use in this video, not the king oyster mushrooms) + woodear mushroom if you like more crunch, 3-5 slices of ginger, 1 stalk of lemon grass, salt to taste, and msg (is optional for umami), add 1-2 bird's eye chili pepper if you like the heat. :D Boil it altogether for 10-15 minutes and viola.
EVERYTHING looks delicious and incredibly well presented. I am 1000% going to try this omelet recipe. Never would have thought to have eaten it with sour cream and salsa too. Genius!
Thanks Jegg 😌 Please let me know your thoughts! 🥰
@@sophiachang it's Jenn, not Jegg🤣😁😂.

Love that tip. Would use it myself!
Great tip, thanks!
Yesss, great tip! I was cringing in my seat when I saw and heard the knife scrape.
Or dont use slate boards at all, they age your knives so much quicker
yes! Same here, was gonna mention the towel hack :) althought it can be dry also no?
i really like when the camera is set up at the end of the kitchen omg so aesthetically pleasing
Finally a cooking video from Sophie! I love watching Jen and Weylie cook but I KNOW Sophie has been holding out on us! She’s always cooking in her vlogs! Bout time

Every time I use my machine I think of her now 😂

such a great video! tip : if you don’t want to spoil your knife, when you put for example your vegetables in your pan, you have to use the other side of the knife (the one which isn’t sharp). I don’t know if that’s clear, but like that your knife will stay sharp!
ahhhh watching this as i eat my lunch at work.
it’s almost as if we’re eating together ♥️
Loving the healthy & simple meals! Also, I just purchased a couple of stashers. What is the best way to clean them?
Avocado is good with lox bagels too (and you can put the cherry tomatoes face down so they don’t roll off when you eat it). And I learned from Chrissy Teigan to peel an avocado instead of scooping to get every last bit of it. I always enjoy your cooking videos. 🙂
Girl... that toaster.. so innovative !!
Wow 💕 even the leafy veggies looks so exotic, such clean elegant presentation!!! Big fan of Sophia 💕💕💕💕💕
This is exciting to watch for me. Knowing what is there to make and loo forward to make for myself from watching you make delicious meals.
For those curious about the greens on her bagel, she means watercress not crest. :) Looks delicious!
queen!! love seeing your videos and enjoy seeing different types of videos that are executed so cleanly :)
I love your videos! They are my favorite way to re-center after a busy week 💕
Not the metal spatula on a nonstick pan 😭
The aesthetic of your home is gorgeous. Those beams😍

I always make scrambles because omelets are so intimidating to me but you made it look so easy! Also, that brand of chicken tenders is the best. Doesn’t get all dried out like others 🙌🏽
"My boyfriend picked this out, he always picks out the best fruit" You're the best fruit, peach!
EVERYTHING LOOKS AMAZING
I should not be watching this during Ramadan 🤣🤣
Great video soph! I love the omelette 😋
omelet definitely tastes better when you do it with butter instead of oil. I’ve learn that from Ben from Judy’s Life and damn, it changed everything, a dash of milk ugh🤤🤌🏽 chef’s kiss

This is just so wholesome. Thank you so much❤⚘
Hey Sophie! ❤️ Question about the stasher. Does it seal in smells as well? I hate when I store onions and you can smell it through the fridge.
Putting kimchi in salads is the best, give it a try!
Sophia, it looks so delicious !!! Sophia, if you don’t want your cutting board to slide. You can place a kitchen towel underneath :) love you
Thank you , I am now craving a omelette at 6pm 🥺 that seriously made my mouth water
I made the omelette, BANGING! I recommend everyone tries it out. Thanks Sophia❤️.
i came back to this video because i admire and really want those brass salt & pepper grinders!! pls pls if anyone knows, where did you get them from??
hi sophia! thanks for motivating me to keep posting content during covid. sending lots of love!! 💛💛💛
Your salt and pepper grinders are so gorgeous!! Really curious where they’re from!!
Love your stoneware dishes selection! Could you share your favorites with us?
You should definitely do a video like this when mama Chang visits! 🥰

Loved it! Definitely bought that milk frother!
Wow, what a nice and satisfying breakfast and I will definitely try this next time when I have a big day. btw, can I use Greek yogurt to replace sour cream cos I don't have one.
As soon as you said you were gonna teach us how to make the BEST omelette in the world, I believed you 100%. If it's coming from you, it's 100% true.
*still waiting for all my fav youtubers to make a cook book (weylie, jenn, & sophia)!!!
That really is a great idea
The Sistas Cookbook!
Yes! You did that! I’ll be following this from now on
If you put a towel under the chopping board, it won't move as much and will make it easier for you to chop :)
I would LOOOOVE to see a what I eat in a day fully ASMR style!! 😍
Definitely going to try out the omelette tomorrow! 🤤 btw where’s your top from? 🥺👉🏽👈🏽
Now I want the pan, the toaster oven AND the food
And the milk frother?

Love your vids! Sophie, where are your gray sweats and white tank from? Always wearing the cutest basics!
I love to see what you eat because you stay so fit and healthy !!!!
I love this so much!! 💕 Just curious, ever thought of going to farmer's market so less plastic is involved?
Your videos are so therapeutic to my soul 🥰
To prevent the cutting board from moving place a damp paper towel underneath it :)
More what I eat vids! Plus a snacks video 😋
Add a source of complex carbs to your salad like whole meal bread croutons, sweet potato or quinoa to make it more filling :) no need to fear carbs!
Everything looks so yummy!
Luna was staring from outside wanna come in, when she's in, she was staring outside wanna go out 🤣 *omelete part
she was actually inside wanting to go outside lol!!
Omg everything looked so good.
There’s a Korean saying if the significant other picks a good fruit means their boyfriend/girlfriend is a good pick ;]
Burned eggs are literally not ok!! Tell the people the facts 🗣🗣🗣💯💯
Another trick is to salt after the eggs are cooked because it can change the texture or color.
I’ve heard!! Not gonna lie.. I tired it numerous times but I prefer it seasoned prior to cooking!
Would loooove to know where your black cutting boards are from. So cute and functional. 👌
I absolutely love sour cream and salsa on my omelet!!! Yum!
Looks delicious I want to try it! Isn't it called cress though? I couldn't find a crest vegetable.
Hello Sophia! What brand is the black chopping board you are using?
Just here to say I haven’t even watched the whole video but you’re a ✨ queen ✨
it looks like you have such a good relationship with food its very nice to see as someone who struggles with meals :)
Just wondering what hair claws you use? I have short hair and I have a hard time finding ones that are the right size.
