Hey man wicked vid! Question for you I’ve got an LQ9 out of an 03 SS that I want to swap into my 2000 Silverado, will the wiring harness I have from the 2000 4.8L run this LQ9 with only doing the ecm tune? I’ve been told by guys I need to swap entire harness. Let me know thanks!
I had a shop swap my 4.8 that’s in my 2013 chevy Silverado 1500 with an L96 6.0 engine. My question is: do I need to replace the fuel injectors or are the stock 4.8 injectors good enough? Both engines are stock.
@@LSXMILLER Thank you very much But because you did all the work i meant all together with out selling the stuff that you removed im asking because my 2002 gmc is got like 200000 miles and just an case that the engine gives up i would like to upgrade a little
@@jexxux16.0 $1400 + 4l80 $1000 ecm tune about $200 tops, slip yoke and u-jonts about $100 sorry I guess about $300 give or take on Other supplies like paint cleaners spark plugs But if you have A v8 Everything Transfers over oh I had the headers but you can get a nice set for about 250

Yes you can send your ecm in and tune it cheap on ebay

If you are a 2013 you should be fine you are already e85 compatible

What flexplate bolt kit did you use for the 4l80e flex plate aka the part number for the longer bolts
A Stock 6.0L flex plate no longer bolt needed part nb Z-270 on Amazon

I bought a yoke on Amazon Shortened it And used conversion u-joints
U joints Spicer 5-325x Slip yoke tadd td3-5551x Both items bought on Amazon
How much did you cut off the yoke?

No I did not need to Only thing is you need to tune the computer Rewire the fans into the computer Rewire the transmission into the computer
