Conan is like 60 acting like a teenager. He's jumping up and down lifting himself on the podium like an impatient teen. He walks around with a guitar all the time. I love it.
I love how enthusiastic Conan usually is about his sketches and how he really gets into it. At the same time, when doing these sketches during rehearsal he's like "oh god, let's get this s*** over with".
You see, it is really our fault that it didn't make to live TV. Conan gave us a valid question: Is the world ready for the game show parody? ... It seems we are not.
jmodonnell96 Okay 'hate' wouldn't be the most appropriate word, but believe me, there are plenty out there who question whether Andy is really needed on the show. Scroll throught the comment section of a couple of Conan videos and you'll find out. I think Andy has superseded the role of a traditional side-kick. To use Jordan Schlansky's words, I think Andy has a 'variety of roles' on the show.
I love these. They show how much conan and andy really love their crew. Even if their weary of the sketch at first, they both still go 100% on delivery to give it the best chance it can have.
I never laugh as hard as I do watching these, especially the viciously biting critiques by Conan and Andy: Andy (cheerful): "It's worth a scrap." Conan: "Is the world ready for a game show parody?"
D'you guys ever think about how they actually get a designer to create a bogus title card, mug sticker, pulpit and backdrop, then get all that stuff printed, cut out and assembled, all for a segment that doesn't make it to the 5-minute mark? EDIT: Apparently it didn't even make the cut…? _Sad._
Love how the MC's Microphone is small as a #2 pencil @ 3:44 and then at 3:48 it has grown to the size of a Gene Rayburn Microphone...and then he reduces it once again @ 4:11.
Imagine making a science segment. The experiment doesn't work when going live. Then, you can show the clip where it goes well on rehearsal. And viceversa, too. This is one of the reasons.
"Is the world ready for a gameshow parody?"
Conan's constant shtick of ripping his writers to pieces is the reason Scraps is so delightful.
Andre laughing but dying inside
He boos him as soon as he comes out from the curtain xD
is the sprawl your favorite sonic youth song
one of the sickest burns ive seen in a while
@@basedmarlon Yeah
"trust me, mom doesn't know", gotta love Andy :D
And that ad-libbed line was funnier than the whole rest of the sketch

omg i noticed that too! its so cute
Closer to 70, actually!
@@jimmyguitar2933 He's 58.
@@ripdoinksinamish Conan is actually 84 years old.
@@LIamaLlama554 He's in his early 40's.
I wonder how much money and effort goes into skits that don't make it onto the air. I mean, they even built a set!
Probably it's the same set same colours for eternity, they slapped a paper for decorations... which is a lot of work for me so yeah actually
that makes sense, but there's still a lot of work involved.
I know nothing tho, just have nothing to do with the backstage of anything, just crap commenting lets say
lol the seats are half filled

"Is the world ready for a game show parody?" Ooohhh conan😂
Andy hated that sketch from the beginning and he was not afraid to show it. 😂
3:37 Conan boo's at the sketch then peeks at the host for his reaction. Haha
unnecessary apostrophe
I love the immediate boo from Conan when the host came out LOL
"Exit only she says."
Andy, what do you mean "it's worth a scrap"??
This was great and spot on!
You see, it is really our fault that it didn't make to live TV. Conan gave us a valid question: Is the world ready for the game show parody? ... It seems we are not.
Lahim27 of course the world is ready! Just look at black jeopardy from SNL
It was only good because of the ad lib part that would not make it to air.
Rambem 11 sure, that's an important part. Especially Andy's butt related jokes :)
Nah he's right, it was fun but just a bunch of cliche and overdone dad jokes. Good scrap, but I can see why it's a scrap.
How is this a scrap? Conan needs to be on A LOT more!
Shout out to Andy Richter, the best riff buddy in late night television🤘
I think riff buddy is the best job description for Andy on Conan! There you go, all you Andy haters - Andy does have a role on the show
Andy's improv after that "butt stuff" question alone made it worth putting on TV lol
jmodonnell96 Okay 'hate' wouldn't be the most appropriate word, but believe me, there are plenty out there who question whether Andy is really needed on the show. Scroll throught the comment section of a couple of Conan videos and you'll find out.

Andy makes everything better and funnier
@@amitabhsharma3916 completely agree with u..Andy's one liners weight equal to Conan's chat in a segment..😊😊
Cut to the audience where a staffer just has their head in their hand, shaking it in bewilderment. Perfection.

GC I was thinking about the exact same thing
Yup. A lot of unappreciated work.
Designer gets paid for the work anyway.
My guess is the magic word is 'interns'...
@@micglou Conaco doesn't do unpaid interns, and I'm fairly certain I saw this eventually make it to air.
Love how andy just wanders off at the end
This is how you can tell Conan worked at SNL
I love André's chuckle. You don't hear it in the sketches because he usually doesn't break character. It's absolutely adorable!
Conan in a red windbreaker looks like a live action Philip J. Fry.
"mom doesn't know, trust me"
Andrés du Bouchet is so adorable! I just love that face! ♥
^^^ Found Andres’ account
what had been missing in CONAN was game shows..more of these please!
2:35 was the funniest moment when they messed up the script and had to ad lib 😂 Just do a whole hour of these three and Jorden S podcast style.
I love how hostile they are to the writers.
I love it when Conan's and Andy's improvised jokes are more funny then the sketch itself :P
Conan looks like Phillip J Fry
"Who the fck are you to talk to me like that."
Conan is simply the best
Damn Andy rocking those short shorts!
HGD I love Andys shape, he always look so comfortable lol
He is a fabulous man hihi :3

Conan's hair has been compromised !!
Happy belated birthday Andy!
I love how the crew from backstage and producers ARE a part of the show!!!!
Why didn't this make it to the show?? It was great!
The saying used to be “good enough for TV”, now it’s “good enough for Scraps”.
Hahaha look at the kid in the lower right at 4:27 going "Where are all these voices coming from?!".
Conan rocking his best Philip J Fry look
Does anyone else find it disconcerting how the game show host somehow knows where their kids are?
"So I don't get to keep my mug?
"Well you can, just know that it's meaningless now."
🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣
Best part is the amazing automatically extendable/retractable host mic.
The host laugh is funny af ...he was funny in general
"Exit only"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
It's the tiny microphone that slays me.
One of their best scraps. Loved it!
Sooo manyyy “Tony” scrapsss xD
Conan winner of the "World''s Dest Bad!" mug.
Andy is the best quipster. Master!
i love Andy
I'd love to see more content like this.
I think this is so great because they are ad libbing and trying to do one better than the other constantly. There's certain dynamic in there.
Andy is so hilarious.
Conan looks so cute in this outfit😍😍😘😘loved this scrap lol
"is the world ready for a game show parody" I feel that Cones
I actually quite thoroughly enjoyed this, Don’t believe that it should be scrapped
I actually really liked the bit! Bummed out it fell flat with the audience and they kinda gave up on it, still silly and funny to me though
Eli Velazquez you do know this is rehearsal right
Eli Velazquez there was no laughter because there was no audience. This was rehearsal. When there is an audience they get laughs
It’s basically just the staff watching
Its a shame that those custom made props had to go to waste :(
Lol, they just look like they're made of cardboard, that's why Andy kept picking them up
Ye but the details....it will take a team of designer and hours to build those, but it didn't go to waste thou,we saw it
@@XadaTen no the quality looked pretty damn good, could have given them to a conan fan or something

F*** yeah
Conan's face gets so red at 2:53 😂
That was brilliant!
Omg. Andy. Too funny.
Conan please come to NZ..
Yeah. i'd watch that.

more scraps plz!
"Whats butt stuff?" lol
Genius!!!
The funniest part of this skit is when the announcer said Conan only had 2 kids
Why wasn't WBD aired? It was HILARIOUS!
"Exit only, she says"

I love how andy looks like a 5 year old kid ready to go to Zoo !
MORE NEW CONAN PREEASEEEE
Does this video show up as just a black screen with the sound playing for anyone else?
First scrap that conan doesn't have his guitar.
Hey, not only does Conan resemble a former Finnish Prime Minister, he looks a lot like singing star John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten.
My shirt says worlds greatest dad, that's even better than number 1 dad.
Somebody please do something with conans hair
nice jacket
Why do the shows need to keep the cameras rolling during rehearsals?
Gracieli Ambrósio practicing camera angles for segments.
The producers and directors are practicing too
Imagine making a science segment. The experiment doesn't work when going live. Then, you can show the clip where it goes well on rehearsal. And viceversa, too. This is one of the reasons.
Backup and *everyone* is rehearsing, including everyone in the control room.
to prove Conan's and Andy's alcoholism hasn't effected their job performance
Where are your kids now? Correct answer: At Butterscotch's ice cream truck. He he. Hit it Yokomoto
