- THE GARDEN- FREIGHT YARD (Bass Cover) DEVIN VITEK 🃏🤹🏻
One of my favorite new non-hardcore Garden tracks! Heard this for two nights on the HSOR66 tour and can’t wait til I can hear it again in April. This song is a bit tricky- deceivingly simple yet some parts keep you on your toes.
Tuning is C# F# B G and I recorded this in my daw before recording video. I used my Fender Rumble 100 then reamped with GR3 and an Ableton limiter to give it more boost.

This is so good even the tone is on point
Thank you! I love Wyatt’s tone he gets on his Rick. I tried to get a similar one with my Fender
This is literally sick and definitely one of my favorites to play on bass. You sound spot on !
Thanks so much! It's such a fun song to play, so catchy too.
WOW this sounds amazing
Thank you very much!
Man you're making me want to learn bass!
Keep going man!
Ay thank you! Go for it! I primarily play guitar but bass is very fun. In fact it has shown me another side of music/songwriting.
awesome❤
Thank you!
you're so cool omg🕺
Thank you Lou, that’s very kind of you!
Great playing! Awesome performance bro! Rock on!😊🎸
Thanks so much Kausi!
Nice bass playing! My only bass is in storage 1,000 miles away, so I don't have a bass at home right now, but I used to play some bass. As a fun thing to try, I bought an Electro-Harmonix Micro POG pedal. It's a "polyphonic octave generator" pedal. What it allows me to do is plug in a regular six-string electric guitar, and then shift it down an octave, so now it's a bass! I can play basslines on my my regular six-strings electrics. It's an interesting way of getting around not having a real bass on hand.
Thanks man! That sounds cool My buddy plays in a band he formed and he does stuff like that since he's a big Royal Blood fan, as is the bassist. They do some cool octave/ABY amp switching trickery to get some cool sounds live.
@@DevinRyanVitek I do the ABY amp thing as well. It just makes the sound fatter when you run two amps! I've been experimenting with running my 12-watt Fender Princeton and my 15-watt Vox AC15C2 . 1 x 10" and 2 x 12" speakers, respectively. One or the other or both at the same time, so it's fun. The ABY thing is great!
@@jalapenowarrior1665 I bet it sounds awesome running two amps! Would love to hear the cabs pushing that much air.
that tuning is so interesting
Definitely an interesting tuning. I wonder why he tuned it that way
Hell yeah man 🤘
Rock on!
Hahaha muito bom man 😀
Obrigado!
what is the tuning???
C# F# B G
what’s with the two lightning bolts in your banner that’s not….
Huh?
the bass is not pluged in bruh
Recorded in my DAW beforehand
