Nikita needs a new trainer he is not being taught how to box as a southpaw made this fight ridiculously hard for no reason moving to his left running straight into the right hand just terrible training his lead foot inside his opponents lead foot! All very bad!
@tarocalypse there are some basics to fighting as a southpaw that are a huge advantage and Nikita does none of them he is a disaster waiting to happen!
Every boxer is going to end up with cauliflower ears and being punch drunk. Beside the skills they bring to the ring, it's the thing I admire most about all combat sports ppl. They know where the road leads to, yet they continue unabated.
I think Nikita needs to work under pressure more often. He looked like he was almost gassed and hoping for a lucky shot to land. Having said that, I think he already knows these things from what he's said in this interview. Well done to both contestants for a tough gruelling fight.
Nikita has the rails run in terms of support, training camp in Vegas etc. and really if he is supposed to be world class he shouldn't get hit like he does. He's exciting, cause his style promises action but I'm not convinced it is enough to defeat any top 20 fighters. Love Nikita's humility and look forward to watching his journey.
The referee called it too soon, Nikita was loosing the fight and wasn’t even close on the score card in my opinion. Keon should have been allowed to carry on, the Round was almost over, he would have got the decision and won quite convincingly. The Tszyu name got him this result.

Nikita is trained well . If you watched his uncle’s pad . It’s Nikita’s fault for not following the fight plan… don’t forget it’s hard to transcend for a puncher to a boxer / puncher. He is learning and will improve in another 2/3 fights … don’t worry. Most boxers lack knockout punching power and can box … Nikita has both … with adversity he will only get stronger and learn faster
Mazoudier deserved a standing 8 count, yeah he was hurt but the fight had been very close, as usual tho no limit protect there fighters, there had already been two robberys by the judges in the previous fights, and a near robbery as well, no limit events are always shit shows, with mismatched fights or dodgy ref or judging decisions .
The other trainer was in Zerafas face agressively and swearing at him....that's what started it all.... so he should be sanctioned for making the first aggressive move as he acted like he was gonna hit Zerafa

Kazoo been getting hurt more and more each fight. It accumulates. That Italian cat that looks like a Ferrari F1 driver and talks like Nadal hurt Nikita. That guy (Creatine?) a feather fist had Kazoo doing the wobbles. Mazoudier for a wirey scrawny guy got Nikita looking a bit like the elephant man post fight . Nikita has no jab no fundamentals and no defense. He'll most likely get stopped if he goes over to the States. Even though modern boxing is watered down, top 10 world rated fighters are levels above compared to Australia. Not hating on the kid. Tim's finding it hard to crack the US market.

Australian boxers are tough and resilient. Alot of international boxer's wouldn't have been ko'd earlier than koen.
He's now ranked in the top 15 for 2 organisations. IBF and WBO. Every fight from now on is a top level fight.
