about 5 years ago I remember Andrew said that if you are from any Carribean countries that the waiting period is only 1 year before you can qualify and approved for Columbian citizenship instead of 5 years

The landscape is great but so is the landscape of Venezuela, for me countries with property tax are a no-go, especially property tax starting already at the middle class property.

Colombia has a 183 days or more tax rule which makes me a tax resident if I stay more than 184 days or more in Colombia. I heard that the Colombian tax rate is around 30%. How could we avoid the double taxation issue? Maybe stay in Colombia for 6 six months or less.Please advise me.
