It's not just the bland, boring and often confusing dialogue (especially in combat), it's not just the absolutely apathetic line delivery, and it's not just that most of the antagonists seem more relatable and sympathetic than our narcissistic protagonist. It is the fact that it is played so straight and serious that it shows the creators had no idea how insufferable this game actually is. It's actually amazing, but in the worst way possible. I'm so sorry you have to suffer through this.

It's not just the bland, boring and often confusing dialogue (especially in combat), it's not just the absolutely apathetic line delivery, and it's not just that most of the antagonists seem more relatable and sympathetic than our narcissistic protagonist. It is the fact that it is played so straight and serious that it shows the creators had no idea how insufferable this game actually is. It's actually amazing, but in the worst way possible. I'm so sorry you have to suffer through this.
