I always spec out exactly how I would order each car, and one customer thought it was perfect for him too! This gorgeous Florett Silver 2022 Audi SQ8 with Arras red interior was even better than I expected. And it has the S Sport package! It also has NIGHT VISION!!

Just returned to watch this again. Held off on my purchase when the market turned, so will be looking to buy probably in 2023. Oh well. Wish I had bought late 2021 as was my original plan. In any case, love, love the SQ8. Just wanted to add one little bit of info regarding your night vision comments. Night vision is also very helpful with fog, the foggier it is the more helpful it can be. Oh, and it can help you see Big Foot better too. 🙂 Great review.

Well done, Emily. Easy to understand. My biggest concerns about all these new High technology vehicles will be the failure rate after the warranty expires. EXPENSIVE! just like the Range Rover's air ride problems.

What a treat to come across another of your videos. This one is also top notch, getting into more detail than most about a few key features. Actually, other than a little indecision about color, this is the exact vehicle I want to get, the fully loaded 2022 SQ8 Prestige with the Sport Package. If I forego the beautiful "black optics" option, purely cosmetic, then I can get the the slightly thicker rubber 21" wheels instead of the 22" ones, so I've been going back and forth about what colors I prefer with or without the black optics. I have to say, however; I think I agree with you, this silver exterior with the black optics package and the red leather interior, wow, beautiful. This may well be where I'm leaning now. Not sure the difference between 21" and 22" wheels is enough to forego that beautiful block optics exterior package. I want one, darn it. 🙂 Thumbs up for another great review!

That’s the same reason why I run 18” wheels on my RS3 with sticky tires. They come with 19” standard. I truly think the black optics makes the silver POP! Thanks for watching! Thanks for the option updates. I really wish Audi would have implemented a monoblock rear caliper instead of the standard two piece. Would really complete the package. Has anyone taken the RSQ8 rear calipers and put them on the SQ8? Do you know how long a build is taking from order to delivery these days? (April 2022)
Very interesting about the brakes, I can see that now. I don't know of anyone who has swapped out the RSQ8 rear brakes but I'm sure that would look good. A build right now is taking 9+ months if you were to order one.

Does it come with the bang & O system
I’m waiting for the delivery of my SQ8 i bought a few months ago, my dealer told me that the headlights and taillights on the US models don’t do the dancing lights but it seems like they do in this video? Is that standard on the sq8 models?
Congrats! In the US they do the matrix animation but are not fully functional matrix headlights where they can turn off portions of it for oncoming traffic.
@@emilytheaudinerd thanks for your reply Emily and great video! So does that mean they will only do the animation when turning the car on and off but not when driving? I loved that feature so I’m hoping I will get at least some animation with the lights 😅
@@gunit3333 correct. It will do this when you unlock or lock, but while driving they do not change

There is not a hybrid version of the RSQ8.

Emily question I just purchased my 2022 Q3 45 premium s Line. It didn't come with side lane assist on the mirrors. Why is that?? That's basic to all cars now.
Most of the cars are now coming with a credit for side assist and lane assist. They credit these items because of the chip shortage. So they do not have these features. It will be listed as a credit on your window sticker.

I know you cannot add it after the fact in the US. I am not sure about the UK but I would guess that you cannot.
