I cannot listen to this song without crying 😭. Eyedea has written the soundtrack to my life for years now. First artist we've lost that caused me to cry. The potential that was lost with his death, is outlived by this beautiful art Mikey created from his soul. True art, resonates with the You behind the you. Consciously congruent regards to all who have been changed forever by his music 🎶💓💓💓
Ive cried a lot in my life. this song IS me, my lifes main theme . Im in a very dark spot right now. Eyedea is my favorite rapper of all time now. I had the opportunity to see him perform with abilities in Hultsfred 2004-2005 ish. Im so tired now..i have some great stories what happened after the consert. but i need to cry more now. ..
DOOM once said that the energy (soul) cannot be destroyed only transferred and that the human eye cannot see the spectrum of light that the spirit illuminates in, or that we do not have the technology yet to be able to see that spectrum of light, but it’s all around us, everyone we ever lost are in the essence of nature itself All that is left behind physically is ashes, and dust, but their immortal souls live on, even in this song
as a huge fan of Alan Watts I 100% agree. I heard of Watts first from Bruce Lees books that he had a real profound and great messages to get out. Eyedea yes in this song is a philosopher, a poet, a rapper , a human and foremost a friend ..i really miss this guy . i met him in 2005 after his concert ...RIP Mikey .. :(
R.EYE.P I had your lyrics sent to me while I was in prison and it helped keep me positive throughout my bid. Also helped me a lot prior to prison. This is the most beautiful music I have ever heard in my life
My heart ❤️. Your soul lives on Michael. When I listen to this song, I know I'm not alone. In some way, you're still here and a part of everything. I wish you were here in your physical manifestation. As silly as it may sound, I do ask for you to be around me. Your energy is so pure and real. Thank you for Being. 🌿
I had just gotten out of a funk that lasted for about four days straight, if not for my wife.. I probably would've been in that same stump. Because of this song, she reminded me of myself and who I was through this song when I was sitting in the shower... In highschool, when she was getting to know me I was always speaking my similar thoughts and philosophies to help my friends and my friend's friends... I would free style when I'd get out of poetry slams and she would be there listening... honestly feels like I married my first fan. RIP 'Eyedea.' you made me... 'Exist.'
I feel so bad about so much. I feel like if I could just help myself, help you; I would be ok. Sure, it wouldn't be saving the world. But honestly, it would be my world.
I feel like maybe the world is beginning to get the Eyedea.
We can only hope 💓
The world's has no eyedea❤

If Alan Watts was still alive, this would be his jam.

If anyone wants to delve into his mind further, much of his philosophy was based on Jiddu Krishnamurti. *(Guy in my profile pic)
Thank you I did not know this.
What a beautiful soul gone too early. R.I.P. Eyedea
