It seems trekology have released a bigger pump sack now... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08JYRF3HB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_4M6G6BX9BXWA37GCMDFS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 It looks like it will work better actually as it'll require less pumps.
I ended up giving my thermarest to my son in favour of the UL80, being a side -sleeper. He doesn’t know how much it cost. The trekology pump sack is a pretty good dry-sack too. Good luck with the channel 👍🏻
OK....I will go back to Decathlon Forclaz pad if Bangcool from Walmart doesn t do the job. The Forclaz isn t waterproof but comfortable sleeping on the side but i need waterproof because i want to play on water as well as sleeping on it. Bangcool supposed to do both. Bigger than Forclaz but comes with inside pump. Really too bad Forclaz loses air after being in water because it s perfect for comfort and super easy to inflate.
just got one off of amazon today and nearl passed out blowing it up lmao. Looks like an awesome mat tho more like an airbed which is fantastic as it packs down incredibly small and saves a vast amount of space in my pack.
Unfortunately neither the Flux bag or the Trekology inflation bags are currently available on Amazon. I'm considering trying one of the inexpensive inflation bags on Aliexpress for about £6 which isn't much to pay even if they don't work 100% as well.
You may be right (I had one which failed and they replaced it, the other one and it's replacement have been ok). I will say, however, that even more expensive mats seem to be prone to this issue. It's certainly an issue which could be disastrous and a risk in using inflatable mats over foam mats
Blowing up my matress after a day of hiking is not my favorite. 😏 But carrying extra weight isn't either, so for the moment, i'll just keep blowing! 😀 ATB
Hey, could you send me the link to the sack you liked best, weightwise and useful? I know you put it in your video, but I couldn't find it in the description! 🤔 Thanks!

I just got my Trekology 30L pump sack and new Aluft pillow today. The pillow is a win. The sack works great. Pumped up my UL80 in 6.5 pumps.
yeh it's great. They should have done this ages ago!
Great review video. I may try this one. Thanks!
I have the Trekology UL80 mat and really pleased with it.
It's gotta be the most comfy lightweight mat out there. The one big downside is it provides zero isolation from the cold ground.

I use a Robens 25 ltr pump sack as it also doubles as a dry sack for my cloths.

I agree the sleeping pad its pretty good but watch out for punctures. I have had 2 in mine but I repaired them so all good.
And the little valve fell off so its a bummer to blow up but I can do it.
How did you repair it?

I know it's hard work. Do it in a few goes with breaks. Then buy a pump sack lol
Not actually ideal to blow with our lungs as it adds moisture.
Hi Mate, did you ever try the UL140? If yes, what's your thoughts about it?
Afraid not. Seems a bit pointless?
@@RambloManiacs tried the UL80 for the first time and finally had a good sleep. We climbed Ben Nevis the next day.
Trekology uk 80 mat is VERY comfortable and packs small
Still working fine for you ?
Yes although i haven't been able to camp a lot lately

Damn. Just a few days ago the pump sack was available. I'm sure they'll come back in stock
Except when the air valve usually leaks. It's a well known fault that Trekology have still not rectified.

Currently £34 on Amazon the UL80

To be fair, pump sacks weight next to nothing and can double as a dry bag. I guess it's still extra if you're really cutting grams though
@@RambloManiacs That's right, maybe I have to check it out anyway... Thanks!
