Jimny transformed into a special off-road camper

- After two months of delivery, I installed a special roof tent on Jimny and made it into a camper that can run off-road.
As I explained in the summary column of the previous video, I decided that it would be difficult to sleep in this car due to my physical problems, but the reason I bought this car in the first place was simply because I wanted to drive it. And honestly, I was about to give up because the car camp wasn't the only purpose.
However, I accidentally discovered this roof tent at that time.
The conventional so-called ordinary roof tent is a thing that goes through the process of first attaching a base part to put luggage on the roof of the car called a "base carrier" and then putting the tent on top of that. However, what we introduced this time is a product that can be placed directly on the roof of a car that does not require a base carrier itself.
Conventional products with a base carrier create a space between the roof and the carrier, causing problems such as wind noise and cleaning the roof. Problems such as places that can not be entered and low tunnels cannot be passed will occur.
To be honest, I didn't even think I wanted a normal roof tent due to these problems, but this keeps the center of gravity low and I like the look, and it seems to solve most of the conventional problems.
I immediately stayed for one night, but I have already seen various pros and cons, and I would like to make it a little more comfortable in the future.

私もルーフテント検討してます。カマドさんもついにルーフテント出したんですね！ただ私はワークスさんのルーフテント検討してます。ワークスさんのルーテントは広いし入り口の所に雨よけも付いてます、ハシゴも車内に置いておく必要なく車外に取り付けるので
車内が狭くならない点も良いんですよね。
ただこう見るとカマドさんのもスッキリしていていいですね。

I mean, yes it's nice and it's quite nice actually. Very well done, friend! However.. I'm not a huge fan of root top tents especially on a small car like the Jimny since you lose valuable space on your roof and a tent can be as small as a sleeping mat.. not to mention being top heavy, needing to level the car etc. etc. Me personally, I wouldn't do it.

I dont like it - why is so much water inside? There were wet sides of the tent just after unfolding - probably not very sealed - you cant leave it folded wet - otherwise the mold will grow.. Many pipes inside.. On the plus it looks good folded - just wish for the color.

I think you’ll need to bring the strings and foam mattress.
Your light connect to strings to the pole of roof camper.
You’ll add foam to put on ground for your mattress. I hope it’ll comfortable you to sleep in “Roof Tent ⛺️ “.
You’ll getting usually to stay overnight with nice roof camper. We’ll see you next camping trip.
