This is absolute GOLD, Leila. Honestly. For any leader, director or manager, your content is second to none. Every video is full of practical, actionable value. I’m literally pausing every minute, noting down the framework/step and putting it into action one by one. Can’t thank you enough 🙏🏽

Thank you Leila, this was so helpful. I'm struggling with high turnover in my department right now and trying to stem the flow. This gave me multiple ways to tackle and improve it, despite my department being the lowest-paid in the organization!

Lelia, you're my new favorite business leader I've been following. AMAZING content! One area I would love to hear more on is tips/tricks on how to better determining if someone is a good fit for the role you're hiring for before working with them. I noticed that people tell you everything you want to hear and flower up their resume, but I only find out after hiring them that they are not who they said they were. For example, it's easy for them to say they respond to emails same day because they know that's what I want to hear, but I later find out that's not the reality after time has passed on the job. Thanks!!

The background music was too distracting for me - at double speed it reminded me of Mario Kart - but the content was epic!

Onboarding for accountants includes a full briefing book, names internal partners who are also accountable, and lasts through the first audit and to the second audit, following hire. It is managed extremely well, preferably by a straight-shooter.

So good. My job cares about training, but only that it benefits them as a tax write off. Most of the training has NOTHING to do with my job, but we're required to take it. Smh.

Hey Leila! So if you made a video on hiring your first employee that'd be awesome. Personal experiences from your first employees and what you expect from them would be great knowledge for me and other start ups. I'm getting to the point now where I want to hire someone but I'm stuck between needing an employee but also needing someone looking to grow the business. Thanks and always enjoying the content!

Thanks leila I really appreciate this kind of detailed big picture first and then open to the audience to ask and go into tactical part. For under 1m company, How do we create the milestone qualifiers for each of the pay bump, status bump up? Do we refer to the numbers game like our monthly target and our available team size first and start from there? How do we give reasonable timeline for each milestone?

Question: What does your employee onboarding process looks like? How to make it powerful and efficient, when all of your processes are not clearly defined yet.
We are at the building phase and things change quickly.
