We don't have a video on adding Axis cameras - however it's nearly the same process as adding the Hikvision camera. The menus are different, but the concept is the same: Change the IP into the same subnet as the NVR, enable ONVIF in the Axis camera, and add the camera's IP in the Uniview NVR's menu. You can also search for "Adding Axis camera to NVR via ONVIF" and there will be a few tutorials available.
Thanks for this video. The Integration Protocol was all my problem for all HikVision cameras, But i have one Provision camera, taht the UNV NVR doesnt see. Is there similar protocol for Provision, cant seam to find it
Sorry, I'm not very familiar with Provision cameras. You may need to send them an email and ask them how to add the camera to a third-party NVR. Also, I'm glad you found the video helpful and managed to add the Hikvision cameras! Thanks for the comment!
Its works when enbled the onvif but when the power down and up on my poe swich the camera stops work on nvr ,but when i login into to camera web interface the camera works on the nvr, Always weblogin when to activeate the camera on the nvr how can i solve such kinds of problem?
Yes, you can plug a Hikvision camera directly into the PoE port of a UNV NVR. If you have done this with a new Hikvision camera, the password will be configured automatically to either: Admin123 Uniview666 Ipc123456 If you are using an existing Hikvision camera (not brand new), then you need to change the camera's IP address to 172.16.0.x range. This is the same range as the Uniview NVR's PoE network.
I plugged the camera directly into the PoE port of the NVR, so I needed to use the NVR's PoE IP address. If I had plugged the camera into my router, or a switch, I would have use the LAN IP of the NVR instead. Hope that makes sense. @@Oo-vu5gg
Yes, that's true. And I realized that I did NOT plug the camera into the PoE port. I plugged it into a PoE switch (shown at 0:14) which was connected to my router. So, to get it working, you need to change the camera to the NVR's IP address. For example, my NVR was 10.0.0.220 - so I needed to set the camera to the same IP range. @@Oo-vu5gg
Amazing explanation thanks , I have a question do you have an videos on adding Axis cameras

Thank you noted , I will be reaching out to you regarding purchase of uniview NVR as replacing my record server.
Thank you so much.
Thanks!!
This is in the case of a half PoE Nvr. What about a full PoE Nvr 16channel?
Thanks for the tutorial.
One question, does hikvision camera motion detection, IR or face regocnition work on other brand NVR? Thanks
Motion detection and IR should work since these are part of the ONVIF specification. Face recognition will not work.

What camera are you using? You shouldn't have to login to the camera every time the power goes down. It should come back online automatically.
yes i have same issue like this, after nvr reboot you need to login to the web interface. its not back online automatically, any other settings?
Nice video, quick question can you plug hikvision camera directly to the poe port of the UNV NVR works

@@xlrsecurityhi, why for non brand new camera, you change the camera ip to nvr poe network, but not ip of nvr?

@@xlrsecurity but in the video, didnt you change the nvr port ip to match that of the camera?

Cameras are nice but the nvr’s seem to be underpowered for multiple 8MP cameras. I sent the nvr back.
In uniview a hikvision WTH change and replase UNV and foff
Waste of time
