Dahua and Hikvision cameras are a lot better than what you can find on Amazon. They are similar to Uniview in terms of quality and reliability.

You are right that resolution plays a role. However, the whole point of this video is to show how frame rate affects security footage and addressing common misconceptions about blurry footage.

@@xlrsecurity doesnt matter if you're at 120fps if you're using 144p. fps is how often you capture. resolution is image quality. your argument is based on how clearly you can read a license plate, which is quality based, not time

Yes, the software has a 64 camera live view limit. If your computer is fast enough, you can consider running a second instance of EZStation 3.0 in a virtual machine. Then you can have 60 cameras on two separate monitors, or 30 cameras on each of the four monitors. Another option is to purchase a Uniview HDMI decoder, such as ADU8706-E-V3. This hardware provides HDMI output to six monitors directly through the NVR without needing to use a computer.

Between 9 - 12ft is a suitable height for human detection. Too low and it's easy to tamper with the camera - too high and the camera may have difficulty with human detection.

If your installer is not knowledgeable I wouldn't bother asking them. Instead, you should contact Uniview tech support directly for a password reset. Visit the Uniview website for contact information for North America, Europe, Latin America, etc. It's under "Contact Us" and then click "Headquarters" to select your region from the dropdown menu.

For this issue, please contact Uniview technical support. They will be able to assist you further. We have not tested our NVR508-64B with an HDMI USB extender so I cannot help you with this problem.

There's a button to the left of the play and stop button that allows you to sync the cameras together. The button looks like two arrows facing in opposite directions. Hopefully you can find it.

Hello, this was a test installation. We commonly compare two cameras against each other such as Hikvision vs Uniview.

This is an optical zoom camera. It has a motorized lens that can be adjusted through the app.

@@drewwhite8568 It's a local device but you can login to it through the cloud (by registering the device to your email address). You can also bypass that and login directly to the camera through its IP address.

It's possible that EZTools 2.0 is getting blocked by your anti-virus software. Try disabling your anti-virus and see if that helps. You can also try changing your network from Public to Prviate in the Windows settings. For me it's under Settings --> Network & Internet --> Wi-Fi (or Ethernet depending on your setup) --> 2nd option where it shows your SSID --> Set it to Private. I hope you're able to get it working. @@xlrsecurity Disabling antivirus did not work. Let me explain my Wi-Fi setup maybe that can help. Wireless T-Mobile 5G mesh system... And I have an additional tp-link Archer router that is connected to one of the routers and from that my security camera system is plugged into that router. Now I try connecting my computer wirelessly to the T-Mobile 5G router. I would just like to have a program that can view all of my cameras on my network. Thank you so much for your reply I'm a quadriplegic veteran without the use of my hands.

If you're using licensed software like Milestone, this camera only uses a single license. That's enough reason to consider it over four separate cameras - you'll save in license fees over the long term.

The favorites feature is not available in UNV-Link right now - however I'm confirmed with Uniview that it will be added in a future update. We also love the favorites and can't wait for it to arrive on UNV-Link!
