I love watching your videos because there is almost no editing. Simply recorded during the day and I see your kids and your husband, too. It shows that you don't need to have a perfectly clean kitchen or fancy kitchen tools to live a good life.

I hate to admit this but just found out only plants have fiber. No wonder your dishes make me feel so good. Anyway thanks for showing us so many things you can do with fruits and veggies.

Beans also have a lot of fiber. Grains have fiber as well, If you want some bonus fiber.

I learned that cleaning the kitchen after dinner and then shutting off the light on my way out seems to tell my brain we are done eating for the night and the kitchen is closed.

fruit is a plant’s developed ovary that comes from a flower and contains one or multiple seeds. The term vegetable is much broader-it refers to any part of a plant that’s used for food, including the roots, tubers, stems, and leaves. Many of the foods that we casually call vegetables are fruit.

You are the Veggie Queen!! So many great ideas from your videos. I now often throw a bunch of veggies in my Instapot and then use my stick blender to blend into a creamy soup with added nooch because of your videos. Something I've never done before (been WFPB for 14 years!) . . . so THANKS!!

Please make more of these types of videos! I loved it! I find it’s easy to find main meal recipes and then it saids add a side of veggies with the main. But it’s challenging to make side veggies tasty. I get tired of salads or steamed vegetables. I loved how you shared your honesty at the end with debating on eating the 3 rd wrap. That is a real struggle for most people to honour your hunger cues. Thanks for the great video!

What helped me the most with this video was when you chose hunger cues over putting aside, possibly even wasting, food. I’m restarting for the millionth time (only because I gave into food addiction). Anyway tomorrow is day one again and it’s ok to give away my triggers, even if they say no to some of the items, in trash is better than my body being used as a trash can.

Excellent dishes and tasty, i'm definately going to try each one...
you could save time and energy, by steaming the broccoli and cauliflower + it keeps their nutritional value this way...
personaly i would add a tablespoon or 2 of olive oil at the end its beneficual for health, skin, hair and digestion to absorb nutrients.
1 tablspoon is just over 100calories...

I have ben making a salad cream/dressing using plain coconut yoghurt which is super delicious and helps us eat our big salads. I add garlic powder, herbs. Salt and lemon juice. That artichoke is next on my list as looks so yummy. We like to make green beans, with peas, garlic, cayenne pepper and sometimes I may add a bit of ginger and turmeric. The whole family enjoys this. The peas sweeten the beans. Be sure to use fine beans as they taste nicer too. I get frozen ones from morissons as fresh are expensive and not enough as i eat a whole bag.

    • @funwithfungi7621
      @funwithfungi7621 2 місяці тому

Peel your bananas, spotted is ok but spoilt is not, and break them into chunks. Cut in thick slices like 5 per banana. Throw the pieces in a freezer bag or freezer safe plastic box with lid and freeze. If you tend to forget things in the freezer, better label with the date of freezing. I think you can use them for 6 months.
When you want to make nice cream or the smoothie here just take out the amount of chunks you need and voila!

Ami, Thank you so very much for making all your cook books half price. I’m so very grateful!
I purchased almost all of them back in February…. But I got really busy (my mother in law passed away 💔) and I didn’t download them (only the Indian cookbook, I downloaded that as I purchased that when it came out!! )…. So when I went to open them from my email…. They didn’t work, it had expired!! It was totally my fault!! This time I saved them to my library… on not only my iPhone…. But also on my iPad!! Lesson learned!!
So I’m extra grateful for the sale this weekend! Thanks again!!
I’m really struggling with my weight loss at the moment so I know it will be the kick in the pants that I need!!
