Beautiful.
Yes double 2 tones
Very Nice Loving The 2 Tones Liked
Thanks Liam, Much Appreciated...
Kensington have two pumps now?! Well - that's great news! I guess it's needed though because Kensington is quite a busy area from what I've seen.
Shame Lilly isn't one of the Pumps :(
Double two tone horns! That's greaaaat!
Yes Kensington have had 2 Pumps since February this year. They are very busy now. These Pumps consist of experienced OICs and sometimes ann experienced FF. But most of the Crew here are Recruit FFs that have just recently passed out as late as November 2015 until January of this year. So as you can Imagine they are busy because MACC send them out to most small non-life threatening Incidents for experience. However, there is a slight con to all this - They are only Day-Manned for their Duty System (08:30-20:30).
Oh and yes Lily went a while ago, don't see much of her now as she has gone into the Reserve Fleet (Vesty). They've purposely put her in the Reserve Fleet so that she can be seen at any Station.
That's a bit of a shame to be fair because it means only Merseyside spotters will see her once in a while whilst spotting at different stations. Be very rare for a spotter across the UK or internationally to visit for a week or so and hope to catch Lilly!
I never got Lilly responding unfortunately, well gutted. Only returning on blues into Old Swan and driving around.
That's good to know! Will be Kensington on my next visit then - when ever that may be lol!
Mersyeside has a very weird staff and shifting system.
nice
I know aha! ... only joking. Thanks mate
Kensington now a 2 pump station again?
Yes, however, they are on 8:30-20:30 Shifts so pretty much Day-Manned. This is now a Recruit baed Station, as well as Aintree
Nice!
Thanks!
do you know why MFRS have put 2 pumps at Kensington? have to say I miss Lily.
Yes, Lily has now gone into the Reserve Fleet at Vesty. MFRS have only put 2 Pumps there because of the recent pass outs of Recruits they've received. This means that the station's crew is mainly made of newly graduated recruit firefighters. However, obviously they have an experienced Watch Manager and Crew Managers and I believe they have a few experienced firefighters. Just for example, one pump could be made up of x1 experienced Firefighter, x3 Recruit Firefighters and x1 Watchmanager
Scouser999 Vids so will the 2nd pump be temporary until the recruits have a certain level of experience or get posted to other stns?
