You are 100% right about Jason’s talent! I also contributed approx 10 hours a day over the course of 10 years. Jason had a blank check to do with this layout what he felt best.
I've been watching your channel for awhile, but just came across this video. Think it dates before I started watching. Looks as if the spirit of Malcolm Furlow might be lurking somewhere. I always enjoyed the artistry of his modeling.
Amazing scenery. The waterfalls look so natural. I'm just in love with the meticulous bridgework. Really, IDK what I like more, the layout or the funky blues guitar playing in the background. My favorite is the twin engine Rio Grande pulling the John Deere tractors. The automatic sensors that switch tracks is quite the tech advancement in model railroading. Didn't see that decades ago. Also enjoyed the subway/commuter train going along its path. It took my mind back years ago on school trips when I rode the DC Metro and Atlanta MARTA trains.
Great layout, would look more authentic if it was in steam. Those modern diesels would shake those wood trestles to bits in short order. Really like your technique with the waterfalls...one of the most difficult features to capture with any realism. Love the music!
GORGEOUS Layout!!! 👋👋👋👋👋 And thanks for the heads up with Azatrax. SOLVED my auto Turnout Alignment issues I was having with my DCC Reverse Loop!! 👍👍 Carmine ✈🚂🚙
Absolutely superb, thanks for sharing, I am astonished at the incredible level and attention of detail and interest there is in the layout, in multiple layers I just love that with all the bridges and under ground and tunnels, and great painting of the back scenes, oh I'm just bowled over, again thanks for sharing.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much Alex, I really appreciate you taking the time to comment!!! Model railroading is a true passion of mine and I love sharing it with others!
Wow! Absolutely stunning! Beautifully landscaped and detailed. Your waterfall was amazing. The painted background blends in seamlessly with all the scenic work. I have seen custom built layouts,( by paid professionals, ) that don't look this good. Thanks for sharing.
This layout has a northwestern states look to it with all those mountains and bridges. Lots of scenery work is complete and looks great with all those superb trees! The background looks like it took forever to match the layout. Hope you sealed the concrete walls with a Drylock paint before you started the artwork, yes its artwork or moisture will surely ruin it. Love your water making techniques, it actually looks like it's moving water! Bet your friend is smiling ear to ear that he found the right person to do the job!
Jason, very nice tour of this gentleman home layout! That is such a cool idea he had to merge the two together and come up with his dream empire. Enjoyed the tour and thank for taking me along. Musse
A real treat. Great scenery. One question, why isn't the track painted? It's so easy to do and shiny rail sides really detract from an otherwise excellent railroad. But that's just me.
Just an amazing layout and such wonderful details. It must have taken years to blast through all those mountains and build so many trussels. I was surprised to see so many shinny rail cars, so maybe weathering is not as visible on them. A derailment could be a desaster from some of the high bridges!
I`ve built 2 layouts in the past 30 years. The last one I demolished about 7 years ago. All of my N scale is in storage now but I`m feeling inspired to possibly do another one. Do I dare take the plunge ?...It`s a big commitment. The time and space required to build a decent layout is something. Not cheap either
you got me with the blues music. Ive started and stopped at least 4 times, alway gave my stuff to some kid Wish I had saved it. maybe I'll do a diarama first
We all respect the owners privacy but we all know that they didn’t want to be on camera because they just get that big smile off their faces. They are lucky to have the imagination to design such a beautiful layout and then to have found someone who could turn their dreams into reality. Awesome layout. Where, in general, is this?
Great layout there. Combination of the Rio Grande,Southern Pacific, BurlingtonNorthern. The city has a Denver feel, it’s a combination of Colorado,Northern California, Oregon & Washington State. The replica of Denver Union Station is great.
Beautiful layout with wonderful scenery. I think somebody was channeling the late John Allen a little bit :-) I really admire your painted backdrop murals. I can see from these and your build videos that you are an artist. The only tthoing that bothered me was the presence of TWO UP 1989's! I try to allow for personal tastes in layouts, but that one just got to my OCD!
Amazing layout except for the water. In real life rolling rivers are not a bluish color but more on the different hues of brown’s and gray’s. I see so many times people make the same mistakes. Typically blue water is found around contaminated water or in coral rich oceans. Besides that it looks great.
I'm new to HO scale trains and have a question; I ordered some HO scale lamp posts (LED) for my layout and wanted to know if I need some kind of circuit board to connect them to my controller or not? I hav'nt received them yet so I don't know if they come with any intructions or not. Keep up the good work and thanks in advance!
Loved the layout and the 3D effect that you managed to achieve by the mural to the rear and the trees on the shelf in front. Also, the mural with the steam train, it looked so real, it looked like the real thing. What I am trying to say is, "When are you going to produce the Jason Jensen Trains range of back scenes?" Stick me down for a couple of sets. So impressive. You are so talented Jason. I must admit I am jealous that God gave you so much talent, even He must be so proud that you are using and enhancing it on such a scale. Anyway, please make and manufacture back scenes, because I would like to buy them. Regards Mike
I can see you made something beautiful, but photography is bottom of the barrel. You wave the camera aimlessly and use auto focus which focuses in wrong spot. I had to shut it off. Your movie skills are none existent
Wow, Wow What a amazing layout!! I hope I can do something close to this soon. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!!!
You are a very good artist! Thank you for showing us!
Amazing work, Jason. Just amazing.
Thank you so much John!!! I really appreciate it! 👍
That is outrageously phenomenal! My mind is blown. Incredible bridges, rocks, trees, mountains, water features, structures, etc.
Thank you so very much Mark, I really appreciate it!!! This was a dream job for me. I enjoyed every second of working on it! Thanks for watching!!!
Holy cow! My brain hurts from thinking of the millions of hours this build had to take. The details are beyond amazing. A+++!
Thank you so very much!!!

Thank you so much David, I really appreciate it!!! This layout has been so fun to work on. Thanks for watching!!!
great layout , fantastic scenery , and so many bridges !
Thank you so!!!
That's incredible. With al the mountains and canyons, it reminds me a bit of Northlandz in Flemington, NJ.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!!!

This guy likes Bridges. Wow!!
Beautifully designed and built. Did you scratch build the birch trees? If not, where are they sold?
Awesome
Thank you!!!
Amazing layout and work, fantastic, but what happens when you move? do you design it for disassembly?
This is fine art imo.
When I win lotto I am flying you to Australia to build my layout scenery lol
Suggest using Micro Scale Bridge track and guard rails next time.
The clients in charge, I just do the modeling! If he's happy I'm happy!
AMAZING !!!
Thank you so much!!!
Auto throw on switch can be done with a NEW Switch It NW2 also.
Can you do a video on building a wood trestle? (both straight and curved)
That's a great idea for a future video!
Which way do you keep your tracks clean?
A track cleaning car that you pull behind a engine.
@@JasonJensenTrains what fluid do you use?
@@IceManOregon I use Life Like. This looks very similar. Here's the eBay auction number, still up for sale ... 303977827658 ( not mine )

WOW, amazing! Was it in Model Railroader?
Thanks!!! It was not in model railroader.
@@JasonJensenTrains Oh, ok. I thought it was from the track plan drawings at the beginning of the video; they look like MR drawings.
