That's because some of the puzzles make no sense. Not even the second door puzzle with the five dials makes any sense. What's the point in trying to figure out puzzles that make no sense? That's really stupid if you ask me.
@@ShadovvV i though the same that its random, but hey, there are pretty obious hints on the letters you receive ingame.... :D :D just didnt look at it lol

Thank you for your walk-through in this game. I am still having an issue with the number sequences after you go underground in the tunnels. I follow your steps but mine never match up. Do you think these numbers are different for everyone? Need help lol

This game is pain in the ass. However, the atmosphere is cool.
Most of the first puzzles up to the skull are bearable, but later it becomes harder to solve. I just watched your walkthrough, because I was lazy to get through this game by myself. Thanks for the walkthrough!
If you missed it there's a 3 prong key under the Crystal lab
LOL it took me like 6 hours of (relaxed) gaming to get to the point at 50:00 and with all the map apparently explored i thought i was almost done.
Now i see from this "walkthrough" that i'm still missing like 1 hour and half in SPEEDRUN.
So i'm not even at half of this game?? omg

OK how did you get from the safe in the water to using the white crystal to open the station that holds the last key? Absolutely no clue. would have died wandering aimlessly.

okay, we know the professor is/ or at one time, okay, but where are the skipper, mary-ann, ginger, the howells, and of course gilligan. you think the professor went of the deep end?
where did you find the second key for the tower in the center of the map? i played now for more then 14 hours, and i only have the first with 2. and the third with 4. but the second one is missing.
and while watching your video. there is a cut right at 41 minutes. before you havent it in your inventory. after then it is.

Under water Father found 2 of the 4 plaques. Where did the 5 digit key code come from?
You used the plaques to figure it out. if you use the blue crystal on the walls you'll see a chart to convert it into numbers. then for the 5th one.. i kinda guessed i actually dont know how to find it legitimately

yes I agree, its the good ending. But they leave it up to you to decide which is kind of nice. When you think about it, you are giving access to a god-making power to everyone in their galactic civilization. It is sort of like giving out free nuclear weapons to people around the world. There is a good chance one of them will use that ability incorrectly. The idea with civilizations is to allow them to work out their aggression while they are still relatively primitive in their technologies. And then at some point, once they are able to live in peace, a power like that of Quern can be achieved safely

Crash Maniac absolutely. I love this game but it has terrible guidance telegraphing the next objectives.
Trust me, it took him a LOT longer than 10 mins! Just is just a replay for this video. There's no way he can just know what to do.

Agreed. I was starting to get sleepy (watching this late) watching that part and I am like.. "what is he doing"?! It didn't make any sense and makes me question whether I will even finish this game.
The rings represent the circular walls inside the machine room. The gaps line up to open one side of the room at each of the two doors.

The game is nice looking graphically, but it is also a very poorly designed game when you need a walkthrough to figure part of it out. Only one other game I can think of that had bad puzzles like this, and t hat was Myst IV, which was also graphically beautiful, but the puzzles were bad. Finished all the other Myst games without any help.
The puzzle at 38:00 is bad designed. 3 is the sum of the third column, fourth column is not a sum.
This game is BS...not enough feedback to let you know you're on the right track and too many obscure puzzles. Some were easier, but others, my brain went a different way, and there was no coming back. No clues to fall back on either...once you're lost, you're lost :( had great potential though....and yet, here I am lol
Totally agree. Not even the second puzzle with the five rectangles makes any sense. Just spin them around and try to find the combination. No clues, nothing. What's the point in trying to figure out puzzles that make no sense? That's really stupid if you ask me.
@@ShadovvV you mean the five blocks trapped in a wooden frame? That puzzle does make sense. You are trying to move the heavy black block to the bottom, once you do it can escape out the side, where it weighs down a pulley system that opens the gate. Most of the game to be honest is quite logical, at least it was for me. A few parts were tricky that's for sure
