- Welcome to Stardew Valley. In this series I will be pursuing perfection, trying to accomplish it in as interesting a way as I can. I will try my best to explain as many mechanics, and tricks as I can along the way. But, this game is massive! There will be many instances that I am leaving things that I'm doing out of each video, but I will explain them in future episodes. Probably :)
I will be cutting, and accelerating footage to fit my narration, and hopefully to give a pleeeeasurable viewing eggsperience.

So, fun thing about Journey of the Prairie King; the deathless run is significantly easier to achieve now than it was when you likely tried last time.
The game saves your progress when you exit the game and you can make a hard save by sleeping. So by abusing resets you can keep attempting the game room by room until you get through deathless, doing one room per day.
Nope, it was die and lose everything. I did not know that! I made it to stage 3 once, then died. It was far too frustrating.
I'm not sure I'll be grinding it out regardless during this playthrough, but that's great information to have in my back pocket. Thank you!

As far as I can find, children are not required for literally anything in-game. The only achievement related to them is outside the game itself, as a Steam achievement that doesn’t have a corresponding in-game achievement. The marriage stardrop can be given by Krobus if he is your roommate, same as with spouses they just need to reach 12.5 hearts.
You can also cast a line into the waterfall pool from the eastern shore without a diagonal cast - pretty sure I did this, since I can’t recall managing to get the diagonal casting to work.
I definitely thought they were needed, but nope! You are correct. I probably should have gone for Krobus after all.
I didn't know about the eastern side of the waterfall either for catching the Goby. Thanks for the tips :)

I unlocked Leo on his birthday in year two and decided to give him a stardrop tea. It got the birthday bonus and super propelled his friendship. So I gave him a second one and was basically done.
Wait wait wait.. Stardrop Tea is affected by birthdays? Is that repeatable within one day? Like... "Here Leo, who I just met, have 5 teas. Now we're lifelong friends." The things I learn AFTER I've played through the social objectives :P (recording is fairly ahead of the releases atm)
@@Eggsceptional Yeah, I was super surprised by it too and also really annoyed since Leo was the last person I had to get friendship with.
I gave him the tea and his birthday gift and he was at 9 hearts, so I just gave him a second tea.
Edit: I looked it up and it's been patched, Tea now gives 3 hearts on birthdays now.

Hey egg I read a comment on your other video that you do trading? What kind? I trade forex there's not many traders out there in the wild
Not trading, I was in trades. I can definitely see the confusion :P
By trades I meant I've worked welding, pipeline, construction, as a GC, elevator technician. Maybe "trades" in that sense is a Canadian term? Or an Egg term? :D
