- Today's episode is totally different! Not one syllable from my lips can be heard - not intelligible ones anyway!! This is purely views of Cape with associated sounds and bird song, designed for you to sit back and relax, while enjoying our beautiful island. I hope you do enjoy it and please let me know either way!
Thank you all so much for following this channel and a very warm welcome to all the new Subscribers - we are now at 211!! My target was 100 in the first year so we are well ahead of that!! Why don't we update that target to 500 by the end of the year? We can do that with your help - just, please, keep sharing and spreading the beauty of Cape!
I welcome comments below, good and bad, as they will, hopefully, encourage me to improve my very limited skillset!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video and please let me know what you think…

All bird song not directly associated with the clip, has been provided by Chris McPherson, an American visitor to Cape back in May 2024 - my huge thanks Chris!
Have enjoyed all but this one is on another level ....REAL CAPE Thanks Steve
Could almost smell the ocean there Steve, lovely soothing sounds. Ddn't know that a Marina has been added which is great for visiting yachts. Ard Casta brings back so many memories glad to see her having pride of place at the pier. Thanks & Keep 'er Lit
This was so lovely--I love the human silence. My favorite part of being on Cape Clear is just listening.
PS: Your link for the holiday cottages doesn't work for me (although my loyalties are with Lyndy and Finbar in our favorite yurt).
@@AlexandraKimball-rr8xb Many thanks for the heads up on the link. I'll get it changed for the next episode!
Hi Steve, was that real time sound track or overlay? If realtime, what mic you using?
The heather looks great. Some blue skies 👍
Hi Wozzer! Most of the songs (the better quality ones!) were recorded here in May by an American birder who said I can use them as I wish! They will be used frequently!!
Another class post thanks Steve, what kind of shark is that in N, harbour please seen a few basking in south but never a shark in north
@@LDJOD Many thanks for the compliments! That was a young Basking Shark, taken a good few years ago on my old mobile phone!
