    I fish a micro version of this rig to fish for European Perch. I use a countersunk tungsten bead instead of an egg sinker and I use a float stop to protect the knot instead of a bead

    I started using a larger egg sinker on my main line and above the snap swivel, then a much smaller one on my leader. This has helped alleviate tangled leader lines while fishing with worms for bait off the bottom in strong current. I’ve started calling it a Double Knocker.

      @@KempOutside I have one out now and haven’t had a leader tangle since. This is on light gear in River current.

    Is it fine that i just use heavier line mono for a leader, like 30 pound mono

      Yes you can do that. I use a lot of mono as leader since it stretches.

    you are using a snell knot, mothing will ever touch your knot
