The Everest 2 which I don't think is being made anymore is awesome. I like the 2X but the 2 is better in my opinion. When they first came out they had a single METAL latch instead of the two plastic ones. I have that older one and love it. You can get a proprietary Mountain Series hose with a built-in regulator from Camp Chef which bypasses the regulator for the little green canisters and a standard hose.

I've been wanting to get one of these for my water jerry can but wanted to see how it fit up first. Your video showed enough for me to see how it goes together. And how it wasn't just tinny. The video was good. And I get your opinion on the spout. Still, the crack on the "government engineers" was pretty foolish I thought.

If batteries are next to each other and connected in parallel, the cable resistance is insignificantly small between the two batteries. For example, 4 guage wire is approximately .2485 ohms per 1000 feet. Using 1 foot of wire between the batteries results in .0002485 ohms per one foot piece of wire. If say 100 amps was flowing in this wire, the voltage drop = I x R = 100A x .0002485 ohms = .02485v drop across this wire. This means that your wiring example has no practical difference and you should not consider your method of any importance. Wire which ever way is easier.

Them referring to the cells as 3.2V 280AH cells is an accurate description. The four cells that make up the battery sre 3.2V each and are connected in series to create a pack with a nominal voltage of 12.8V.

i got both the 30 and 40 size on sale via amazon. They're great my only downside is that sometime the line would get stuck undernear the spool and sometime my leader would go all over the place. Ins't a dealbreaker for me since I usually feathered my spool and i caught a 20in brown trout on it as well.

8:25 why would it matter if you saved the box? They're shipping a replacement. You use it's box and packaging for the defective battery return... having to ship back the defective first is BOGUS

At least WattCycle stands behind their batteries by offering a full refund or $50 refund, unlike my Chins batteries.

I ordered this battery on 12/13/24, paid through PayPal, and because it was back ordered at the time I placed my order, it was over 20 days before it arrived, but before I even received the battery I got an email from PayPal telling me that WattCycle was refunding $50. I thought it was because of the long delay, but now I know the real reason why. This company, IMO, is doing exactly what it should do in the interest of good customer service. I'm well pleased. As for whether they were trying to be dishonest in the original marketing or not, I think you need to reread their response to you one more time. They are trying to tell you that the cells that they were sold (EVE branded cells, very reputable) to make the battery (which is a collection of 4 CELLS at 3.2 volts each, not 13.2 volts as you assumed twice) had a rating from its manufacturer of 3.2v at 280 Ah with a TESTED capacity ( by the cell producer ) of 310 Ah. They used the 310 Ah number when rating the battery and it seems like a mistake to me and they are reimbursing me (my refund was back on my card in less than 48 hours) 10% of my cost for short changing me 6.6% on the capacity of the battery, retroactively, and likewise for other PAST purchasers. I'm givin' credit where it's due and this company is trying to do the right thing.

My complaints are no hole for plug that's rain proof. We tried to go through the zipper at the bottom and zip the chord in but it leaks that way. The vestibule attachment you can get is nice but you need to cut and add grommets to the awning and also it needs a brace to hold up sagging awning. It would be cool if they could design an opening for a small air conditioner that would be a big seller. Great otherwise. You can also can get a weather cover to protect tent and darken it on top.

Can it be both GMRS and Ham if it's unlocked in the Normal mode?

if W.C.'s battery was 300Ah how many more amps would it show if tested compared to the 280Ah battery in this Battery?

Drop a fuse between those positive connections. One battery starts to flake out those amps will jump up to 1000 amps and bad stuff happens then in a short. Fuse aic will blow and shut it down fast.

Have you tried using the Tidradio PC software to program the radio? I’m having issues in not being able to edit the transmission frequency, which is offset from the receive frequency. It seems to think I want to enter a repeater when in fact I’m just trying to add some simplex channels that have DCS codes.

I've always admired the Victorinox Handyman. I personally prefer the Cybertool 41 (discontinued) as it has the bit holder. Handyman would be perfect if it cam with a bit holder but adding that would make it bulky.

Hi Kevin, I might be wrong but you can test this. **forget the cookie sheet and solder a section of wire (I used to use coax braid and do this on CB back in the 1970's) to a washer. when you are out in the boat attach the washer to the magnet and drop the wire into the water for your ground plane. A bunch of my friends used to have 102 whips on the car and back up on a boat ramp at night and run a wire from the ground on the whip into the water and talk skip from our cars and it worked great.

Hi Kevin, FYI although I do not know how it will match up out of band, it might be wide banded enough but I do not know. You can check out the Larsen NMO270B. Performance on Simplex is outstanding.
