You guys post videos about the unaffordability crisis than completely reverse your credibility by talking about "hot" housing markets. We need to address house prices in this country or the place will fall apart at the seams

My workplace has already outsourced significant work overseas, due to being unable to attract staff. They cant attract staff due to Brisbane house prices. The company has a 3% wage policy, which doesn't cut it these days.

I guess the concern I have is the Macro situation of Brisbane. House prices are up 70% since 2018. Where does it go from here?
It sort of feels just too expensive.

It’s insanely expensive, especially considering it doesn’t have the higher paying jobs like Sydney and Melbourne do. I don’t know who’s going to keep paying these prices for Brisbane?!

the hottest markets are where all the jobs are. Sydney & Melbourne have the most jobs -> that's why they have the best housing markets.

Brisbane is now more expensive than Melbourne yet doesn’t have the higher paying jobs to support it. Strange indeed!

@@jezg084 it's getting a lot of jobs from the Olympics and people moving from other states. The same thing is happening in Perth.
