Here's a tip I've noticed while dueling, if you use the Nebulus card and try to hide in one of the corners, don't cast it directly on top of yourself. The walls of the arena will cut off 3/4s of the fog's circle, and that means your opponent has less area of the fog to guess where you're hiding.
One thing I’ve discovered from my experimentation is that it’s usually best to be patient at the beginning of a duel. A lot of times people will immediately throw something like locomotor in and if you wait you can easily counter whatever they do. They will have spent all of their initial mp on something and you can just negate it with something like Ron or ivy and then go on the offensive yourself. A lot of the time you can get people to totally waste an expensive spell and then immediately counter. That’s the key I’ve found, conserving your own mp and trying to get your opponent to waste theirs and then strike when they have nothing they can do
On card usage, (I’m playing on a tablet) if you tap the card and then tap the screen, it may move your character and use a movement card, plus moving you in a direction that may not be favorable. Double tapping can be useful, but doesn’t always direct the damage where you want when there are multiple targets. I personally like the drag movement because you get lines or a circle that shows where it’s going to hit. Also, on training, there’s a hidden training menu in the dueling club. It’s a bit basic, but gives some game specific tips and is particularly useful for non gamers like me. And that brings me to the thank you for this video. There is a great void of tutorials for those of us who are new to these kinds of games. Most assume viewers already know certain things that us nongamers do not. Which brings me to a question. What’s a tank card? And finally, could you possibly do some more basic videos for us newbies? These games aren’t that intuitive in that not everything is on the main daily or seasonal boards. For instance, there are a number of hidden achievement boards. I found one in the social club that now I can’t find again. And there are different types of rewards, like the thank yous when you lose that I don’t know what to do with. Additionally, I discovered by accident that you don’t have to accept the default level in the forest. If you’re stuck on a level you can revert to a prior level, which is useful in completing challenges and gaining rewards. You can also switch back and forth between the hallow and dell. Probably obvious to experienced gamers, but again, not so much for us newbies.

Great tips! May I suggest a meta card counter guide or meta deck counter guide? Havent seen one out there yet, more on deck building. But take your time, we are all thankful for any guides given!
There is a difference..When you go trough the card it gives you the option to practice that card and add about 2 other cards that compliment the first one so you learn what cards are good together..That is at least what I concluded by trying both methods
Hi! I just started playing and your tips helped me a lot! I have question tho, how do you play on PC? Do you need some emulator? And is it legal? I know for some other mobile games its not allowed to play them on pc.
Maybe after the update the game changed your default server. After loading screen click the globe with arrows in the bottom left corner and check out other servers maybe your avatar is on one of them

After learning that gold is crucial and hard to get as you progress on the game, I regret buying the 20000 legendary card on the shop

Also, don't upgrade every hard. Upgrade those cards that you use regularly. Gold is hard to get later on
gold is only hard to get if your broke in real life games cost money so just spend $30 still cheaper then most games and this one is actually good

Yeah, I only spend on either upgrading echoes or specific cards
@@ROGALLYWORLD bro most of us are free to play players and 30 dollars is still a high price for gold.

Thanks! Good idea
The practice area is not really that hidden. It is accessible by going to the dueling club
