Since there are comments asking how it's done, and I don't really edit on FCPX anymore so I'll briefly describe it here: Prep: 1. Download a bunch of Marvel wallpapers with high resolution ( ≥ 1920 x 1080). Preferably those with a lot of things or characters, you want to fill up the empty space as much as you can. 2. You can colour grade them if your computer can't handle colour grading in FCPX. In FCPX: 1. Import all the wallpapers 2. Layer them in the timeline such that they overlap one another 3. Keyframe them from out of frame to in the frame 4. Add motion blur (no plugins required) 5. The key is to time each frame in fairly equal durations so that it doesn't seem to stutter 6. Merge the animated wallpapers 7. Add Marvel text, you can play with the font and download fonts if you want but the next step is more important (You can download a png logo or even type "Marvel" out and a red background separately or like what i did which is a bit lazy, is just use a wallpaper of the Marvel logo) 8. Play with the opacity and timing. There's a lot of trial and errors, I even had to go back and re-edit the merged clip to time the motions. Optional: 9. Add a black screen where the Marvel text starts to show 10. Mask the black screen to create those swooping effects, but make sure to lower the opacity The rest is just tidying stuff and adding sound effects, nothing innovative there. and of course export it ;)
